If you get laughs you'll get more famous and more people will like you. Being a good person helps too. Kathy Griffin has zero redeeming qualities.

He quoted Bill Burr, a now happily married comedian for what I assume was an attempt at humor - not to make an actual point.

he knew the reaction he was gonna get, which is why he filmed it and intentionally antagonized certain types of people. The entire reason for protesting is to illicit a reaction. That's why the argument is mental gymnastics. right and wrong aren't the same as legal and illegal. the right thing can be illegal and the wrong thing can be legal. Both sides of the abortion argument are fighting for what they think is morally right - it is a difference of morals, and in a democracy, the majority wins.…

her frustration should be understandable. Be frustrated, but don't break the law. Fighting for your rights by trampling on the rights of others is moronic, at best.

mostly just a setup from the get-go How do you figure? This is mental gymnastics. Protestors have a right to protest if done so lawfully, regardless of what it is - if you break the law to stop them, you're in the wrong not them. The First Amendment isn't there for the people you agree with, it is there for the people you disagree with. If you get triggered by people exercising their rights, that's on you - not them.

Unfortunately, anything parroted in a gender studies class is marketed as absolute truth nowadays. That's sums up the entirety of academia these days, logic and reason be damned.

Taking advice doesn't make one weak, worrying what I thought of you for not taking it, is.

My advice would be for you to do the same. Life is too short to give a flying rats ass what anyone thinks about how you live your life. Wasting a single breath on trying to understand why they think what they do is too much.

THIS IS MGTOW the reason "you haven't heard of it" is because the label is being adhered from outside, being stamped upon these men.. Sorry, I don't understand the victim mentality - and that is exactly what this is. MGTOW just sounds like a male form of feminism to me, where everyone else is the problem. Any man who is comfortable with himself, isn't going to give a flat fuck about being labeled anything - much less MGTOW.

That's the thing, it isn't the individual men (as I see it) claiming to be a part of a movement, this is a thing that has been happening for awhile now, and is only now being labeled as a movement because by the very fact that the men going their own way are going their own way it is hard to nail it down as a movement. I'm sorry - but that's horseshit. I am a 38-year-old bachelor, who has never been married and who hasn't had a long-term relationship in more than 17 years. Not because I don't li…

How is the movement stupid? Because it is a movement to begin with. Live your life how you want to live it, and don't worry about what people think about it, or take input on how you live it from anyone else. The least manly thing to me is needing reassurances from other like-minded men, that the way you are choosing to live your life is worthwhile. Don't want to date women, or get married? Go for it! You don't need a fucking acronym'd group to do it.

To be fair, the movement he bashes in that take - is freaking stupid. Shunning women altogether has nothing to do with calling out gold diggers. The point is, starting a "movement" is exactly what feminists did... to me, the least manly thing I can do, is joining a "movement" with an acronym. I live my life for me, and how I want to live it... not some creed or fucking motto of a collective.

Joe's take on hallucinogens is fairly common from people who have taken them. Example quote from Steve Jobs: “Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important—creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.” I've…

I don't side with others here giving you a hard time, but I am a massive standup comic aficionado... and in my opinion the fact that you even think or worry about what you look like on stage is what I believe is inherently wrong with female comics. Be yourself, do whatever you want to do, don't conform who you are to try and incite different reactions. The world does not need another Sarah Silverman. You saying that you can't book shows or be taken seriously because guys are distracted by your b…

I'm a religious guy and completely agree. As a Christian, saying that you're saving yourself for marriage and then getting to second and third base on as many women as possible? Hypocrisy at it's finest (surprise). The Bible teaches that lust is sin (just like sex), and I'm sure when you're getting a boner making out with a hot chick you are desiring/lusting after her... so in my opinion if you're going to sin, might as well get the full benefit. TL, DR - Don't play the "good guy card" and then …

If the person's belief makes them happy and they aren't hurting anyone WTF does it matter to you? 100% of the problems in the world today are caused by "beliefs?" Bullshit. The vast majority of problems in the world today are caused by greed and ego, and that has been the case since the dawn of man. Now some of those egotistical and greedy bastards may use the banner of "beliefs" to champion their cause, but the belief system isn't at fault... the asshole using it for only their benefit is.
