| 1 | Great quick line for online dating sites.Nah, this was a popular marketing gimmick used in the 90s. "I'm not the best, but hey, I'm pretty damned good." Things like "Second Best PC Repair." The idea being that the best isn't really the best for some reason, ie. dishonest, overpriced, whatever. But when you go to the second best, you get good value and honesty -- they need to hold standards in order to remain competitive, and are, therefore, a safe choice.
