Its a mixed bag. Going through burnout but at least my environment is better and not sure what to do career wise as things just feel like I am bashing my head in. Dating has been lots of options but trying to funnel them to see what makes most sense is hard. Well here is how I take it (as someone that is probably on the spectrum): I get paid enough so that I do my job and shut up. But sometimes that pay package (benefits and all) seem measley for all the emotional BS I have to put up with. On "real things", sorry to use a metaphor, but modern society feels as real as a credit default swap or mortgage backed security. Perhaps it is me, but the rewards seem more hollow too. To me if I can work remotely and no one want to pay me more, why not take that…

I will say most countries don't have world identity taxation so would not bash them as much as the US government. Having said that a good chunk of infrastructure, welfare do not seem effective. one area other countries are prudent on is defense but with a good chunk of their spend is not. How do you price what is more important? Without a market it goes to whichever mob gets rile up.

Neither am I, but my only question is do the sex worker have the choice and of course tax money being used but that is probably the least of the issues honestly. And you are probably right. I will say the attitudes of many but not all sex workers are very refreshing compared to regular dating. I know a good chunk of it is the act but some seem like bright cookies. In the American sense it is very odd than men have their pride about them.

Thank lordy we are bombing the shit out of brown people, solving most crimes under 50% of the time, regulating all sorts of consensual shit, and paying some geriatrics to play dnd in Washington DC and suck at it. My apologies if you are not American but there still is wildly inefficient things but not to the extent of the anglosphere/US.

I get it. I have been poking around national security legislation and it is horrifying. Moved out of the US so not trying to piss on your cornflake. with the right chips on the table might be able to pay less in taxes and quit finding the hydra. Also I realize most governments don't tax their citizens on world wide income or most what they do abroad. The US take liberty with that. But I get there are ways to take the path of least resistance.

I am not sure about your countries founding, but the colonists killed over a 3% tax. The laws of today do not come from the consent of the governed. If you cannot make your voice heard due to not having an option then are you actually being represented. Having said that it is better to leave than have your head on a. chopping block.

Damn second guy in a few days I talked to from Michigan lmao. There are dozens of us. I did like the vibe of Detroit when I was visiting, but honestly where I have been living just has been a bit off. I am going to one place I have not been but the place still is very conservative. I can't speak to his whole thing, but Miami is a lot more relaxed than most the US. I was just out chilling and bumped into two girls. Would have escalated but was with someone at the time. Still expensive, but Miami Beach is super chill.

This was pre-covid and I was dating someone at the time, but just bs'ing in Miami Beach at a 15 dollar hostel and at Dolphin mall I got chatted up. I was younger but Miami does seem pretty chill. Not trying to make it as simple as location, but the vibes are there and you probably have worked hard. Not trying to provide social commentary, but certain cities in the US are just more chill.
