Yup, it was the first time. I'll see how the week goes, and spring break is coming up so there might be an opportunity. Well if she looks busy that was already a sign not to try and talk to her. You should have just waited for another day where she was doing something like reading a book or not doing much. The headphones and her being focused on her laptop should be a dead giveaway that she didn't want to talk.

If it's a girl I like- actually if it's any girl -it tells me she's shy. But if it's a girl I actually like or have interest in, I would be fine with it.

I feel like there has to be a certain degree of charisma as well for this to work. The guy can't be totally quiet and/or shy.
