A lot of the guys on here are so fixated on male victimhood that they can’t think straight. The article is about spouse and acquaintance murder. Women make up 80% of the victims. We should ignore the 50k women murdered this way per year because it’s somehow unfair to men? I’m completely dumbfounded. The article states that more than 80% of intimate partner or family member murder victims are women. In general though, I don't think it's a great idea to impose hugs on people at work. As a man, I wait until a female coworker initiates a hug before I get into the habit of hugging her. I don't do that because I'm afraid of getting in trouble though. I do it because it's just kind of rude to assume that every woman wants a hug from me. The study looked at unionized workers whose employers are forced by contract to pay the men and women equally. " This doesn't make any sense. Women are often placed in front facing positions precisely because their employers believe that their appearance is valuable and should be leveraged.
