Don’t look for closure from your ex. It’s a fact that not everyone who hurts you, gives a fuck that they hurt you. I found it ironic that I got the closure I was looking for once I didn’t care if I had it.

I was divorced in 2018, and had 2 relationships in the following 2 years. Then I discovered the FWB arrangement, and it’s how I’ve been living for the last 3-4yrs. I’m a single dad with a teen aged son, and I have a pretty busy life. Having sex a couple times a month is enough for me right now, and I’ll probably stay single for at least a couple more years.

The common denominator is money. People become very different when money is on the table

You think she made a “mistake” by getting a protection order against you, and getting sole custody of 3 of your kids? Her “mistake” is making you look like a violent guy who doesn’t care about your kids….that seems like a very strategic “mistake”…. Her next move is probably to get child support for the 3 kids (she now has custody of) during the duration of the divorce. “She told me I can fight it”…..that’s nice of her to let you know you can fight it…. I had a couple guys tell me that the bigges…

“She got very nasty towards me” should be an indicator that you dodged a bullet by not having a kid with her. It probably would have been worse if there was a child involved.

Once a side hoe, always a side hoe…. Your friend is a POS. Hopefully when people find out she’s a just a skank, so they can treat her appropriately

I can’t believe you’re even considering that your marriage should continue. It’s over bro…she’s not on your team anymore, and the longer it takes you to accept that, the more damage you’re going to take over the long run. Get an attorney and do whatever it takes to protect your financial future.

So you had a kid with a woman who just broke up with her other baby daddy a couple months prior? Great decision. So now your sons mom has a different baby daddy for each kid. Maybe you and the other baby daddy can start a club, because I have a feeling she’s not done collecting baby daddies

I divorced about 5yrs ago. I get that a couple times a year, but the worst was at a friends large BBQ a couple weeks ago. I met some new people, some of whom were talking about a woman they kept the BBQ a secret from so she wouldn’t ask to come. I had just met some of these people, so I kept my mouth shut and just listened. After about 2min of listening I started to wonder if it was my ex, and then I heard the name. After listening to the things they were saying about my ex, I was praying they d…

Ronin2722 is correct. I especially like the “don’t negotiate with terrorists” part 😂😂😂

First off, congrats on finishing the divorce. Why did you look into your ex wife’s phone after the divorce is done. That’s like pulling spoiled food out the trash can to check the expiration date. Leave that shit in the trash where it belongs. Go get something new to eat bro

If you’ve agreed to get a divorce, the sooner you realize she’s not on your team anymore, the better. Get ready to be shocked at how fast she’s going to try and destroy you financially and emotionally. Start defending yourself now, or you’ll regret it later.

Neither of those. I’m just an average guy. I met both right after my divorce. They’re not “models” either, but I consider them both good friends. The courage to ask for the arrangement came from friends I have who do the same thing. It’s more common than you think. There’s even a “FWB commandments” on google.

I live in a state where prostitution is legal, and I met a couple really fun women. But then I discovered “friends with benefits”, and it’s great. I currently have 2 FWBs. One calls herself my vacation GF because I treat her like a GF on our trips together. The other is a professional woman who doesn’t have time to date, and enjoys the arrangement we have as much as I do. Nobody is paying anyone, nobody gets jealous, nobody gets upset, and no games. It’s just good times and great sex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
