I get that, but where im from a full inspection is required for a mortgage as well as complete insurance coverage. Im covered and i know what to expect when buying. With the monthly bills im saving on i have a lot more money to put away for unexpected repairs as well.

Yeah, in my case renting was much more expensive. Im able to put away lots of money for renos/repairs each month.

Thanks, my loan is for 25 years. My advise is to find your budget and plan out all of your expenses and base the mortgage off of that. You can always change it after the 5 yr term

Im 22 yo, I just bought my forst house in June. This is my logic behing it, if you are paying rent say 1200$/mnth is typical where I live, then that is 14400$/yr that you will never get back. If you are buying a house you are at least getting equity and you will own something with real value sooner.

I like indoor rock climbing! It's exciting, most likely a new or at least unfamiliar situation, and you have to hold her up on the rope so she gets to trust you

I feel ya man. But that doesn't always work out. Since I was a teenager I just let the girls do the work, and now at this point I lost all my game cause I've had no practice. Keep working at it until you get your game right.
