If she goes back to the topic in the future, you can answer "you don't get to choose when I yell at you". But knowing you will never.

I have two ideas for you to think of: Be patient. You're still young and might add some inches to your frame. But even so, learn (and practice) to be confident and comfortable being who you are. If you take care of yourself, lift and eat good, you're way ahead kid. Do not take things personally. A wise man once said "do not feel harmed, and you won't be". Instead, take on a positive mind set and try to live on the good side of things. Do not get tangled up in shit unless you ultimately have to. …

Exactly. That's one major overlooked problem with behavior cognitive therapy and similar approaches -- as depending on the personality type, one can just rationalize problems through dysfunctional arguments that do not allow for true progress and closure. I understand the point (and value) of helping people talk things through, but multiple nuances need to be observed if you're really trying to be of any help for those you care for (instead of just doing it for the sake of "frame").

Hm, really? I'm not sure where you guys live, but where I'm from things can get very rowdy if you end up "just grabbing their hips", depending on the situation. Is she alone? Are there dudes in her group? That's just bad advice and a good way to get fucked up in a club. But perhaps you guys just need to try it out to see what happens (rather quickly) when things go sour.

The thing about this sub is that everyone's an expert. Most dudes are here to spill out dogmatic truths instead of taking part of a constructive dialogue. Yesterday I was reading some comments calling a guy beta for 'texting a girl for too long', for actually engaging in a conversation that ended up getting him laid. Go figure.

Solid advice. I truly do not understand how a night out with a LTR at a club can be defined as 'fun' as it defies the very basic goal of going to a club in the first place.

Dude that makes two of us. After being successful on Tinder you just start rationalizing why going out is bullshit, how much money you saved, etc, but in reality you're just regressing into a shell of your former self and digging even deeper into a comfort zone.

Maybe ponder if the pick up game is really for you, it might not be and that's fine. Cold approaches are not for everyone. Some guys fare better than others and perhaps that's just not your thing. You might do better in a social setting with friends of friends or acquaintances. Plus, depending on where you live day game (in public transit places like the metro, bus station) can be a sure way to get rejected. After I moved to Rio I started observing how most girls here have their guards up and ju…

Fuck man, when I was a kid my dad hung that poem on my bedroom wall. It wasn’t until I was 25 that I truly grasped how grand it was. Iron sharpens iron, mas men sharpen men. Thanks for bringing it all back to me once again.

I'm with you here. I've had good success there for some long time and continue to do so. It takes no effort and, if you're smart about it, you can reap great seeds from it. With a tight schedule revolving around work, gym, education, reading, house chores, etc, Tinder is a good tool in my toolbox. A lot of people seem to want to make it to be a black and white matter (unsurprisingly).

The original 531 indeed lacks volume. Keep in mind the original program is almost 20 years old now and has been revamped three times. Wendler is a bad-ass motherfucker who just happens to sell HIS product -- I don't believe he is at fault for that, he has his business and makes money off of it just like you and I. NOW, the Beyond 531 has modulations such as FSLs and Joker sets that can turn your first week into a volume nightmare. For advanced lifters, here's an example (after warm up) 5 @ 65% 5…

Agreed on Jocko. Stay on the path. I'd also recommend Waking Up w/ Sam Harris -- look for the behavioral/neuroscience episodes and not so much for the social topics/politics ones. #128 is recent and very interesting, give it a try. JBP also has a good podcast w/ often Q&A episodes which can hit home hard if you're doing some soul searching. The lecture ones can become dull quick as they tend to veer off topic and g on rants frequently.

Exactly. My gripe w/ Alpha and Beta is that it's just another form of binary thinking. Life is not black and white and to categorize male behavior in a rigid shell is stupid. Some guys here have suggested in the past to work with a broader spectrum of terms, but apparently it gets too complex for some people, even though it has the potential to add a much deserving depth to the subject. Go figure.

If you feel like you're interviewing a girl, she most likely is feeling interviewed as well. Sometimes less is more. Do not be afraid of letting silence settle in, if she's not interacting in a constructive matter -- women are very uncomfortable with it. She'll either pick the conversation back up or walk away from being truly uninterested. You win either way.

Drop some (a lot of) fat, focus on leg hypertrophy and look up exercises to develop a v-taper. If you should NOT be hitting the obliques with heavy weights as they'll only make your waist seem bulkier -- focus on rollouts, side leg raises and such. You'll be surprised how much better you look with a leaner body, especially if you're shooting for aesthetics.

Be relentless. Get ready to deal with bullshit you don’t agree with but have to do it anyway — that’s called big corporate. I once had a boss that used to say working for a big company is like joining the army in many ways in terms of chain of command. If you don’t like it, go home.

Be honest with you and her and hard next. It might suck now but it’s much better than living a lie and feeding her bullshit. If you do care for her, break it up respectfully and tell her you need to move on as this isn’t working for you anymore. No long conversations, no what ifs. Be sharp and assertive. Think about it like pulling a bad tooth. You’ll have to do it anyway at some point, so it’s better to sit on that chair the soonest and get it over with.

Good to know you're learning. I'm really glad. At the same time, a part of me feels a bit uneasy about super young guys being pulled into the RP ideology too early. Don't get me wrong, I do believe these are successful guidelines to live by when you're older, but at 15-18 you just don't need them in your life. There is no philosophical, experiential and character foundation on which to build this house upon. Plus, I feel like some RP involves dynamics and variables that are just not totally appl…

Be professional and make an active effort to keep things very separate. It's simple. Women are more prone to take objective thing subjectively, so be cautious with how you behave and with the things you say. Here, less is more. For a young man, having a female boss can be very positive (think "mother bear") if you can play it right -- I can speak from personal experience. Also, be discreet. You don't need to take part in their conversations -- if forced, make casual generic remarks and don't get…

I don't believe you don't need a mentor at 16. You might need a father figure, but not a mentor. The best thing for a 16-year old to do is to be a 16-year old -- trust me. There's much to life you're yet to learn and you surely do not want to be the kid w/ the superiority complex, because that'll hurt you just as much as being an introvert. Stop worrying. Keep things simple. Speak up for what you believe it's right (even if you learn later you're wrong) and be an honest person. Build character a…

Check this out: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2719544/ I do understand the gleeful recommendations about meditation, but most people do not realize the possible negative impacts if COULD have.

Keep your head up man, we all fuck it up from time to time but it usually comes with painful but useful personal growth. If she does reach out, you should try to ignore it. Don’t give her the luxury of having your attention again.

While I do understand the positive side of what you’re saying, meditation is not a magic pill and in fact can be very dangerous for people who don’t have their minds in the right place (yet): Some guys will need external guidance in order to become a better version of themselves, not all answers come from within. Life is a balance, find yours on the outside and on the inside.

Walk away. Otherwise you’re just feeding a dysfunctional loop and you’ll find yourself pulled back in soon enough. Be strong and move on. Learn from your lessons and don’t make the same mistakes again.
