Women get a pass with 33% because tits. I don't think that's correct. There is no way 8% of a woman's body weight is just breast.

Crazy dog lady is my "if my husband dies or divorces me" plan.

Are you prolife or prochoice? Prochoice Would you personally get an abortion if you found yourself pregnant today? No. Would you have an abortion if you wanted to keep it, but your husband/boyfriend/other told you to have an abortion? It depends greatly on the circumstances. I've told my husband that if my health was on the line (but it wasn't pregnancy related) and it would be terminal, I'd carry to term so long as he was willing to be a single parent and the child is wanted. If his only reason…

Kinky sex doesn't make you less of a good woman, or a good wife, or a good mother. Wouldn't it be more concise to say a partner who radically changes what sex activities (not necessarily who or how many sex partners) they engage in pre- and post- relationship would correlate to a higher a probably of the relationship failing? But even that paints things with such a broad brush, that it'll often paint things one way when it doesn't or wouldn't apply to that situation.

I'm not understanding why her LTR partner wouldn't want to engage in kinky sex? Is this an assumption? Once vanilla always vanilla? Is there no communication between partners over what each other wants, desires, or is interested in trying?

I don't understand how you're drawing a correlation between what kinds of sex a women engages in and her faithfulness. The way it reads, is that couples that married as virgins can only engage in vanilla sex because no one taught them anything else. But there are couples who engage in kinky sex and have low to singular N-counts.

I wasn't trying to wriggle out of anything. Sorry it appeared that way. This thread went from "hitting women is ok if its called BDSM" to trying to link consensual sexual kinks with normal, every day relationships. To sum up so I'm not sending mixed message: -Hitting someone without their consent = not ok -Hitting someone with their consent and the proper safety protocols in place = ok -Participating in a power dynamic with the full consent of both parties; and with the full knowledge of the exp…

That is a tangent that has nothing to do with BDSM. Though there is a power dynamic Daddy/Babygirl that would fit with the whole "i don't want to be an adult/modern woman" thing you're going for.

I'm a feminist and I have ZERO problems with that scenario. In fact my sister's marriage is set up that way. It works for her. She enjoys it.

I'm not attractive, so my experiences are probably fewer and farther between than most. I live in a large city. The most recent unwanted advance happened when I was pumping gas alone. A man drove his car over to my pump and asked if I wanted a friend. I said no thank you. He put his car in park and proceeded to badger me about how everyone can use a friend and all he wants is a little fun. I told him no repeatedly, and said I wasn't interested. He started making comments about how my husband sho…

I'm hardly a neat freak, and I get annoyed with all the pans cooking dirties up. Dishes are a never ending chore.

I have a lot of empathy for people in general (doesn't matter which gender) and I enjoy caring for other people (sometimes to my own detriment). With that in mind, when caring (the action not the emotion) for someone is constructive/tangible, it's a lot easier for me to do. I'm a fixer/problem solver. When there is an emotional/non-tangible problem that needs fixing, is where it becomes murky for me. I've spent hundred of hours listening to friends of either gender vent about their problems. And…

Having miscarried, I concur that there are shame/insecurity/doubt/etc that comes along with it. When I miscarried, I felt like shit and defective because I couldn't give my husband what he wanted, which is a baby.

On a scale of Jay Baruchel to George Clooney: I'm firmly on the Jay Baruchel side.

I think the comment was referring to the minimum amount of sex considered acceptable to that person.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
