Dude, If you wanna just hate people, I'm sure there's a better sub for you elsewhere. Please go.

Out of curiosity, what are the 9 indicators?

Nobody's saying that; I don't know where you're getting that from.

Not at all that I don't believe you, but do you have a source please? I want to read more about this.

Let's not victimize ourselves more than necessary. I can get behind this. Far too much of this in this thread in my opinion.

I don't see how drinking alcohol, getting a credit card, or fucking old people is a human right.

It didn't seem to be anything special to me. What about it seemed flirty to you?

She is so down, all you had to do was not screw it up. Congrats, you didn't, she still wants you. Go for it.

This is good advice. Something I'd do is part ways for almost a month on a flirty note, just to prime her for what's coming next. After that time, getting back together in a chill environment should give you your chance to follow rpcrazy's 3rd bullet point above. You've already been with her, unless she's got issues it's a safe bet you can build attraction again.

How about some casual talk and flirty banter for now. You should have your chance to isolate this girl and take her somewhere more... appropriate when finals are over.

That said, it's a first date. Be classy. Give her a reason to want to date you again.

Practice on everyone. You don't even need a goal. If you can get yourself involved in conversations you don't even have a vested interest in, you're golden. Essentially it's practice at keeping a conversation going when you don't know what to say. You'll see what works and what doesn't, and it's extremely low risk.

Talk to them. All of them. It might be weird at first but you'll get used to it then it won't be weird.

You don't? Why is this an issue?

Yeah! Way to show her who wears the masculine unzipped pants!

Just my .02, but it seems like you're trying to set up 2 dates at once over text, which I'd personally try to avoid. To me, it seems needy, and her having to turn you down because she's with her family gives her the feeling that she's upsetting you. She's busy with her family (no reason to believe this isn't legit) and was flexible with times. The takeaway: She is interested in hanging out with you. Wouldn't reschedule otherwise. And as a matter of personal opinion, I only set up one hangout/dat…

For the most part. I personally wonder about rescheduling though. This post makes it seem like it's the flaker's responsibility to reschedule. Makes sense to me.

Now this is coming from an unpracticed seddit lurker, but from what I've gleaned from reading here you could be ejecting too early. From the standpoint of actually getting the girl, ejection and rejection do the same thing. Only way to know for sure is to assume attraction and escalate. Perhaps you could also try to set a date if she seems receptive. Immediate feedback in addition to being able to back out with a # or a hard rejection. Good luck man
