It's actually not ambiguous. This is unfortunately something they don't teach very well in school anymore. Relevant clauses that are essential do not contain commas. Those that aren't do. Here are some examples that can be misleading if not done properly: I love all of my students, who get good grades. . I love all of my students who get good grades. The first says that I love all of my students, and that they all get good grades. The second says that I love all of my students that get good grad…

Consent means the person in a clear state of mind said "yes". Enjoyment is a physiological reaction and its perfectly possible to gain pleasure from sex that you don't consent to. That they were on top proves less in my opinion. If a women pulled you on top without your consent, would you really think that makes it any less non-consensual? I don't know the specifics of your situation, but I am taking your word for it. Consent means the person in fact agreed to it. Those two facts don't prove it …

I'm not doubting you, I'm just saying that just because someone seems "into it" or is on top doesn't mean that they consented.

Just to be clear: but she was totally into it; she was on top, even This doesn't make it not rape. How would you feel if you were raped, but your rape was trivialized because you were into it, or on top? This goes for men and women obviously. Carry on.

With respect to reddit, have heard it defined in terms of subreddits with over 10,000 users. Certainly when compared with all the other gender issues subreddits out there, I think it's hard to deny that /r/MR is one of the bigger ones.

The issue being discussed here is whether /r/MR is a hate group, not whether labeling practices are biased. As such it is a red-herring. I also doubt your claim that there are hundreds of feminist sites like that. Or let me clarify I doubt there are hundreds of extremely popular feminist sights like this. The reason /r/MR was "singled out" is because it is a popular subreddit.

I also want to know the reason "radfemhub.com" wasn't put on there for literally calling for the extermination of the male gender. Am not familiar with that site, would love a link, though I'll take your word for it. In any event, it's a red herring to point to something like this. Just because they have recognized /r/mr, but not radfemhub.com doesn't make their recognition of /r/mr any less valid, which is the issue. Here are the links I've seen on SLPC that deal with this issue: http://www.spl…

/r/niggers has ~850 subscribers, /r/beatingwomen has ~1250 subscribers. /r/MensRights has ~31,000 subscribers. Not to mention no one takes the former two seriously. They are obviously trolls. MRA puts itself forward as a legitimate movement. No one needs to be warned that the first two things are going to be offensive or racist/sexist, so that's why no one is bothering to report on them (combined with the lower visibility).

Is this a male stereotype or a female one though? Can we really disentangle the issues? It seems here that the stereotype at play is that women are weaker, more vulnerable, and need to be protected. The fact is: every employee should have to do their job. This isn't about making men do something women shouldn't, this is about excusing women from something, in theory, one should do in that situation. Why? Because there is this perception that they are weaker and need to be taken care of. This is …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
