I often feel bad when I automatically assume a man is dangerous, because I wouldn't instinctively make the same assumption about a woman. It takes willpower to break a lifetime of programming and we don't always catch it.

I would agree except that it is a question of our RIGHT to be treated equally to women. To eliminate this inalienable component from the argument is counter intuitive.

To be fair, he has probably been exposed to a lot of poor treatment of actresses... In which case I can completely understand his disposition regarding treatment of women, but that doesn't excuse someone from denying the voice of equality for all.

Isn't that how it usually goes? Aren't most plea bargain help programs (IE: Domestic Violence Intervention Programs) basically this? I'm sure most people who go truly need their help, but innocent people who are there purely out of wrong place wrong time circumstances are told shut up and acknowledge what worthless pieces of shit they are.

Because women do have problems in India. Women have problems everywhere and so do men. They only so confidently spout off statistics because many of them are unchallenged. As soon as you challenge one with sources we see incidents like the hostile girl. The world is neither perfect nor black and white which is why I align with the MRM. The point is that rape is rape. Period. Subcategorizing forced intercourse only promotes skewed metrics. The flyer is correct based on the number of forced to penetrate and forced penetration in correlation with the us census of the same year.
