In high school I had an English teacher who claimed only 10% of people are leaders. To hold a classroom of 30 people hostage, he should identify and execute the 3 leader-types in order to attain maximum submission and prevent an uprising. It's a fun story but the moral is 1) leadership is an uncommon skill, so it's natural to feel discomfort. 2) If you know what you are doing, people want to be lead by you.

A belief in ghosts is not a red flag. You have to decide if her beliefs are compatible with you, but that's a different issue. I dated a wicked smart girl, who also happened to believe in ghosts. I do not, but you know what I enjoyed? Ghost stories, horror movies, all that spooky shit. It was a lot of fun. And I was "so brave" because I don't buy it, I just laughed and played along for shits and giggles.
