I would tell anybody in that particular case they're probably just overlooking or trying to find something to be offended about. It's like playing music backwards to find subliminal messages. I was not comparing men to women in regards to education and employment. I was comparing gender to race like you asked me to. "Men do not catcall women because they're systematically disadvantaged when it comes to education and employment". That's a fact. It's also a fact that on average African Americans ARE disadvantaged in those areas compared to white Americans and that does explain why crime rates would be higher.

If you've never done it then it should be as easy as "Huh, glad I'm not a piece of shit." The ad calls on the good men to call out the bad men doing this stuff so that the boys of today don't become those bad men tomorrow. That was literally the whole commercial.

I'm 25. I don't perceive the ad as talking about or shaming all men. There are a lot of problems that men have that aren't taken seriously. That's why I visit this subreddit. Move into a high-crime neighborhood. Disable or remove any and all forms of house security. Make sure you leave your valuables out and in plain sight. Remember, no security or safety allowed.
