There are a few benefits that might be favorable such as taxes, simplified power of attorney in a medical emergency, and a simpler inheritance situation. There’s also an improved social standing that could impact how you are seen and treated by people in general, although this is quickly going away. And finally, many businesses make it very easy to access your significant other’s account which can be convenient for dealing with bills, hotels, etc. That said, almost all of these can be achieved b…

I understand not wanting kids at the moment for practical reasons; e.g. you can’t afford them yet or you want to finish college and buy a house first. Or maybe if you have a severe genetic disorder. But not wanting them at all speaks of extremely low self-worth and emotional immaturity (for a man or woman). As a guy who hasn’t had kids of my own yet, a “child free” woman would be out of the question. However when I’m older and have already had several kids, I’d consider dating someone like this …

This is a valid reason for leaving a friendship; sometimes it’s necessary for your mental well-being. I don’t think it’s right to expect a rejected guy to stay friends if it’s causing him continuous heartache and anguish. Another factor some women may not understand is that finding a partner is a higher priority for most guys than platonic friends. We only have so much time and social energy, and finding a fulfilling relationship and perhaps starting a family is a very deep basic human need. It …

I think that the social expectation that men be providers, not just for their families, but even to be able to date, is a big factor in why most men prioritize working and earning more than women do. But I don’t think there’s a huge difference in overall financial responsibility, although men certainly have more social incentive to be financially responsible. I am surprised that a lot of the old-school guys I know (in their 50’s) handle none of their finances. Their wives do all the budgeting, r…

Calling someone “husband material” implies you’re going to fuck other guys while you make them wait, or settle down with them after being promiscuous. It’s basically a last-place prize. Ideally it would be a compliment if it meant they were a really attractive partner you’d be willing to make sacrifices for. But often when a woman is trying to date with serious intentions, she’s doing other guys on the side…everyone except the one she is supposedly interested in long-term. What the side dudes ar…

Alpha fucks, beta bucks. Basically simultaneously fucking chads and stringing along a well-off beta who they could eventually settle with.

Being beautiful and young—things which they have no control over—are the most significant factors, as unfair as it may sound. As for things they can change to be more high value: physical fitness, hygiene, dressing well, not sleeping with a large number of partners, keeping her house & car tidy, and being responsible with money. It’s nice if she’s a high achiever career-wise, but this is much less important than the other factors.

Financial independence retire early. Basically a movement of young high earners to live frugally and maximize investments so they no longer have to work.

I agree, I prefer a woman with a submissive personality. I’ve tried being with one who’s controlling…never again.

I’d recommend skilled trades, specifically the highest-paying ones (e.g. in Nuclear Power you can pull in $200k a year with an associates degree). You do a short, focused training program that’s not stuffed with social propaganda like at a university. Most of your coworkers will be practical, blue-collar types. You get ahead by building your skills, not by kissing ass. And the politically correct corporate bullshit infesting every workplace tends to stay far away from your day-to-day job.

It will take more effort as time goes on, but stay intentional about keeping in touch with your old friends. Message/call them regularly, meet up for coffee and a walk in the park. Spend time getting to know your neighbors. Plan in informal backyard grill and invite a few neighbors over. Try to note common interests and use those for ideas to hang out in the future. Live near a local university? Look up student groups that sound interesting, then drop in to a meeting. Most welcome non-student me…

Damn, sorry to hear you’re still in a strict lockdown. Most of the US has reopened and starting to drop mask requirements. You’re welcome to hop the border anytime and enjoy our restaurants and stuff for your own sanity. I was a BP traditionalist who wanted marriage and kids, but recently dealing with cancer at 32, I’ve decided against having kids. And discovering TRP/MGTOW over the past year has thrown out any chance of marriage...except for maybe when I get much older. So the threat of dying e…

Wow you sound like the perfect gf, he’s lucky to have you. In this situation it could make a lot of sense for you to eventually scale back work and take over more traditional household duties. Make sure you communicate and know each other’s expectations for marriage, kids, and an approximate timeframe. Long term, the most important thing you can do is make sure you maintain an active sex life after moving in (and especially after marriage/kids). Secondly you should keep up your level of physical…

The hardest part is over, accepting the difficult things about your past you want to change. It’s time to wipe the slate clean, start working on yourself, and gradually improving. No one can change overnight, but if you keep focused on who you want to be 6 months or a year from now, you’ll see measurable change. Whatever you do, don’t dwell too much on the past. Just periodically check if you’re a better person than yesterday, if so keep it up and stay focused.

It’s the most crazy, backwards idea I’ve ever encountered in the dating world. If some women want to do this as a supposed way to screen out the “low value men”, fine. But they have to realize at the same time high value men will be screening out women who make them wait unnecessarily. I would only consider upgrading a woman to an LTR if we had good, frequent sex to start with. I’m not wasting any time on building a relationship only to find out we’re incompatible months later.

Being a messy slob: throwing clothes on the floor, piles of crusty dishes in her bedroom, a stinky car filled with trash, and bedsheets that haven’t been changed in months. These are major red flags that she’s mentally still a child and needs a “daddy” to help her clean.

You'll by definition always be less important than her kid(s), and you'll only ever get the scraps of leftover free time when she's not spending time with them. You'd be lucky to see her maybe once a week. If you're a single dad it kind of evens this out, but single moms are not compatible with a guy with no kids of his own. Then there's baby daddy issues. One chick I was talking too had a perpetually unemployed BD who lived with his parents, but after they separated he was constantly trying to …

Of course guys prefer chicks with lower n counts, but I think it’s relative to some extent. Guys with higher counts may be more accepting of a high-n woman, while reserved, lower-n partners will gravitate to one another as this likely indicates more compatibility as far as personality and morals.

Unless you want to teach at university, higher degrees are generally only worth it if (1) you can get your employer to pay for it and/or (2) it will actually lead to higher income.

Men want sex, and until that desire is met, platonic friendships will be prioritized lower. It doesn’t mean they don’t want or value them.

There’s a grain of truth to this. A man’s need for a relationship takes precedence over making friends. While both can happen in parallel, I think single guys will spend time and energy looking for a partner over making new friends. In this case, a girl not romantically available, but who would otherwise be a good friend prospect, will get sidelined when other dating opportunities arise. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to be friends, he simply prioritizes his needs.

I would only date single moms if I was a single dad, AND they had a high-paying career. As a single guy with no kids, hard pass.

A promiscuous past makes them not “relationship material” to many people. It’s a trade off—and some women may prefer casual hookups, but doing this a lot damages their chances of finding a HVM should they ever decide to seek a long term relationship down the road.

Like many things in life it’s a spectrum; most couples gravitate to a relationship where the guy is more alpha than the woman. There are exceptions, but getting your partner on the correct side of the spectrum compared to yourself (for both) is a key element to long-term happiness.

Quietly making some investments in gold/silver could shelter that money (and is a solid way to diversify investments in general). Pay cash at a coin show or reputable coin dealer, buy 1 oz gold bullion coins (preferably in NGC or PCGS holders), and keep them in a safe or bank deposit box. r/pmsforsale has some good options to look at. I’m not a lawyer, and don’t recommend anything illegal, but it’s possible a few odd “collectible” coins could help his situation.

They can absolutely be friends, and if they’re attractive it takes some compartmentalization in your mind, like in a professional setting where it would be inappropriate. The big factor for a lot of single people is that one of their top priorities is acquiring a long term partner and starting a family. It’s not that they oppose platonic relationships, but they only have so much time and social energy, so potential romantic relationships take priority.

I definitely prefer women with a low n-count, but I’m looking for a long term relationship & kids. For hookups I wouldn’t be as concerned, but a high n-count absolutely rules her out as possible relationship material. Not making a moral judgement about that lifestyle, just saying I couldn’t be with a person who’s casually banged dozens of guys.

Had the same experience meeting a bi girl that became full lesbian over the course of our relationship. I’ve now got two dealbreakers when meeting new people: 1) No single moms 2) No bi chicks
