I am sorry they didn't allow your experience to be documented there. It is important to try and understand different opinions and the experiences that have led to said opinions. I hope that other people will keep their ears open when hearing your story.

I've found that a lot of feminists do not have the ability to make fun of themselves therefore everything that should be pretty funny is offensive. A lot of men are usually very good at making fun of themselves therefore jokes about men aren't held as offensive. However, as time goes on men have begun to realize that we are the only thing that can be joked about anymore and we don't like it. Either everything can be joked about or nothing should be.

Before my second child was born a friend and I would go out once a week to play sports and shoot the shit. I'd like to get back to doing that more frequently as it helped keep me sane and centered. Just a little down time with a buddy even if we are just silent the whole time was golden.

I have two boys. This hurts my insides to read. Brain and heart. I guess they haven't arrested her because her other 2 boys need a mother. Disgusting and so upsetting.

She isn't going to be speaking with her normal voice for a day or two.

This is the first time I have ever witnessed someone use the word lexicon in a sentence other then myself. I don't have a huge vocabulary or anything I just love that word and yes I realize I could've just used it.

Well, everyone tries to justify their actions. She is admitting she is wrong but saying that it is because of these inherit traits and preconceived notions and so it is justified in her mind. Would have been a better article if she left out the justification.

It has to do with the fact that a man could not and would not get away with said crime when this mother clearly has. It is an ongoing and repeating narrative in society that women are not punished for crimes, even heinous ones, because they are women.

No one is mad at you. We just feel sorry for you and the people that have to deal with you.

I have come across the "you have trained him well" scenario several times. Your answer can simply be "no, my parents brought me up well." No one will refute it and no one will repeat the stupid joke either. Women don't realize how much hurt goes into these little sisterhood comments. Truthfully if you never bring it up your girlfriend never will either. It isn't offensive to bring it up to her privately later.

I am so sorry. I know nothing of domestic violence but I am sure it took a load of guts to do what you did. I hope time can heal your wounds as well as your mother's.

They do occasionally. The Venus sisters challenged any male to a competition and some rediculous low ranked guy took them up on it. He destroyed them.

This happened to me a few times and I am sorry. I have felt the pressure of sleeping with women who I am not interested in and it is unpleasant. I am sorry bud. There are 2 directions you can go with from here. You can ignore it and treat it like it wasn't a big deal. Basically not act like a victim of an assault and move on with your life. I would only do this if I woke up the next day and just thought ehhh no big deal it's over and I am fine. The other option is to seek justice for the wrongs …

I am mad about this dribble but not as mad as I am sad for the writer. Sad that she lives in a world where her very existence sucks because all sex and sexuality is about power. I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for anyone who is tricked by this. Don't be ashamed of who you are.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
