I made copies of my Ex's bank statements and got the best Attorney I could. I knew she made twice what I did and I still only got $206 a month child support. It was a small victory. I really appreciate that. My daugther is only 11. She is a good kid. She balances time with me and her mother well. Its split custody and we live in the same town. (351 people) She is here one week and gone the next but visits when she is gone and vice versa. Parenting classes really helped even if I dont like her mother.

I agree. She is 40 and starting to hit the wall anyway. She is 75% Mexican so when she hits the wall, she'll hit it hard. We had young love. It was fun. She tried reeling me back in after her first kid and shinking marriage in 2003. I declined. The marriage continued and another kid came. Finally in 2008 the marriage ended. My ex didnt even have a car when I met her let alone a 401k. 10 years later she will have a house, 401k and 3 Jeeps....yes 3 Jeeps. I filed a year ago and it's still not over because her attorney keeps delaying the trial...meanwhile I get to keep paying for her healthcare. Gotcha......She had 3 of them and still does. A YJ, 1990's Cherokee and a 2018 Trailhawk. To think she didnt even have a car when I met her....lol... I'm one of the lucky one's because I got out. Lots of our Brother's out there that just need to take their lumps in court and do the same. The longer you stay, the deeper the hole gets...Sidenote...I did like the Trailhawk.
