I think at some point, fighting propagandistic techniques with propagandistic techniques instead of facts and reason can make you look just as bad. There's redpill spaces for that kind of stuff, anyway.

well, often times they subscribe to whatever feminism is convenient at a specific time

as a quirky guy who probably has some undiagnosed ailments i totally agree with this

yea, you re probably right, anyway, inventing words or repurposing them is more of a feminist thing

well anyway, there s a tribal component to things like feminists expressing empathy that usually extends only to women

i feel like it should have specific subtypes, if you can only empathize for people that are similar to you, i think its more inwardly oriented

this has been bugging me for a while, is there a word for empathy that just extends to people similar to yourself? i think there should be a word for that

even if it was to ridicule insecure behavior, how come men are relentlessly shamed for being insecure while women are gaslit into treating it as a positive quality? edit: or rather YASSlit, an example is the constant attention seeking online or keeping men they are not even interested in orbiting them

no, but honestly, neurodivergent people are the only ones i seem to actually click with

about looking for autistic girls on tinder, honestly, they would probably still find me predatory even though i don't even seem surface level "normal"

what if i'm neurodivergent as well though?

This really hit my feels.

I think most women think men's lives are absolutely amazing due to all the privelege, which extends to all men somehow, even homeless ones. They don't realize their own privilege because it is seen as normal to them, not special, although they do get a lot of special treatment in a lot of areas.

Yea, an important distinction, though, is that it's only gaslighting if it is done on purpose, from your post, though, it appears you suspect that was the case.

I think this rhetoric creates a situation where a man feels unsafe sharing his thoughts and insecurities, which ironically most feminists blame on patriarchy. A lot of us have come to terms with the fact that sharing too much with a woman will make some women drier than the Sahara, perpetuating the effects of the so-called patriarchy.

I agree it's identity level blame, in this case I think a more relevent stat would be DV stats, which do not even skew toward males.

That's a good one, if someone builds enough of these in their head they could well enough be living in a parallel universe.

it's ironic that they go on to state males are less empathic after the whole cryogenic sleep business.

I wonder if there's a stat somewhere pointing to women self-reporting less. That was a joke but honestly... That's what my anecdotal experience leads me to believe either way.

Those same feminists will totally go off on someone politely disagreeing with them, but then continue to date actually abusive people. A lot of the things they do are just cope.

Well to be fair, a lot of women and feminists are lonely too, they just like to sound sassy about it. And no, I don't think a support system can completely replace a life partner. That's just a weird narrative people have.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
