There's a few reasons for that, not that any of them are good. For example frustrated young men just want to be heard but there's a bit of a tendency to mock any behavior that comes across as incelish or male whining so either they voice their misplaced opinions and get mocked or they see someone who actually believes it get laughed at and it cause a false positive confirmation. I'm just trying to say there's a little nuance I guess.

I agree in the sense that the way men have empathy doesn't work for women. When women say men don't have empathy they really mean that's not empathy to ME. It's a bit of misnomer but they aren't denying the existence of male empathy just that they are in their experience generally reluctant or against engaging in effective empathy for their needs.

To a degree, a lack of perceived quality is likely to spur efforts to improve that quality. However, I try to even it out with knowing that trying too hard can be destructive, same with thinking too hard.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
