If you’re with the right one , he won’t care about aging. Aging is a part of life, but being married means you age with this person. You build a life together. This is why there’s an emphasis to never settle with someone who’s attractive but has the personality of spray on cheese. Girl you’re young flaunt it with your man! Enjoy yalls youth, not everyone is fortunate enough to make it to next day much less to when they are 70. 😊

You have time… but with an esteem like yours I highly suggest falling in love with yourself first then dating after. If you don’t love yourself , you won’t find someone who loves you. Dont worry about time you have plenty of it! However if your weight bothers you then start working on it to build your confidence. Learning to cook comes with marriage , I didn’t know how until I got married. I’m still working on alot but that’s what you do as a marriage 🤷🏼‍♀️ love yourself first girl!

Alexandra girly things on YT was great for me in learning to dress & what not. However what I will say is don’t let some jerk say “you don’t know how to touch a guy”. This is a benefit of having a husband/lifelong partner because you learn what the other likes/enjoys. (Trying to not be a prude, but it’s true!) I also think guys expect women to always act like porn stars. Also totally normal/recommends to hug your guy friends with a friendly hug !

Girl idk how to tell you this… but if he has the audacity to say “ask/tell you he’s going to sleep with someone” it’s time to move on. He’ll likely cheat on you & if he’s looking for an open relationship then you aren’t the one. I wouldn’t suggest comprising your morals, self worth & respect for a jerk like thaf

If he’s truly your person then he should be understanding of where you’re coming from… talk to him about it & explain to him your reasoning. Let him know it has nothing to do with your ex, but just about making sure you’re completely healed & stable emotionally before moving in together.

I think for your benefit it’s best to try & find your own space until you fully know your bf… you’re still super young so it’ll be helpful to live by yourself or some friends !

On another note… the pets had nothing to do with the break up so pls don’t leave them alone. Abandoning them would be cruel.

My biggest advice is to don’t live with a man until you’re at least engaged. It’s also WAY too soon to live with another man & you should maybe still date this new man but live on your own. I think it’s way too soon to live with this new guy & imo it’s better to wait to live with someone until they put a ring on your finger.

I agree, my husband doesn’t. However for each relationship there’s a difference dynamic in appreciation. If she wants to feel appreciated for the cleaning & housework then she should communicate that. I don’t think her bf or any man does it on purpose, 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would suggest finding a job only because y’all aren’t married yet so there’s really no actual commitment to the relationship … as far as the cleaning that’s typical men. Even when married they don’t say “thank you” each time clean… is there something in particular you would like him to do after you cook? If there is a certain way you want him to express appreciation I would talk to him about it ! People have different needs which some could be a simple thank you , so I would talk to him & just…

Try meeting ppl at church, social groups & what not. I would also say, don’t bring up the waiting for marriage on a first date. I would wait until you feel comfortable with the guy & that you see him as a potential husband. Not all men are dating to marry , so make sure you can vet them out.

I would say request the divorce & serve him. He shouldn’t be stringing you along, he’s trying to have his cake & eat it too. Make sure you document every interaction & include in the divorce decrees that you will be refinancing the flat under your name. I will also say , wait to start dating until the divorce is finalized. Divorce is never easy & you don’t want to settle with someone when you’re not done healing.

This sounds like he may be the insecure guy… maybe because of the age gap he feels insecure thinking you might try & leave him for a younger dude. Idk, but sounds like maybe he needs to realize you’re with him & he doesn’t need to worry about other guys 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
