Furthermore, as a USA trans person, I keep hearing that transgender medical care under the NHS is grossly inadequate, which is why so many people choose to pay out of pocket for this care. The way I see it, the solution in the bigger picture is to ensure that the healthcare system provides for the needs of people who need transgender medical care.
