Man I miss that guy. As my dad always said, "when someone influential dies too young, it means the world isn't ready for them". Mr. Samuels wasn't young in the grand scheme of things, but he WAS too young to die. The world isn't the same place without him.

Just don't choose shitty men. It's literally that simple. I've seen it more times than I can count. The men ALWAYS make it painfully clear that they don't give a fuck, and will bail at the slightest inconvenience. It couldn't be more obvious, but these dumb asses always feign ignorance. "I didn't know he was like that until it was too late.". Yes. You. Did. You just liked the way he made your 'giney feel, so you kept him around until it was too late. Stop. Just stop. It is that easy.

Same with my wife, basically. She does have a butt and a little tummy, but the majority of her weight gain goes to her chest. She's gone up about 4 cup sizes since we've been together lol

Yep, people, ESPECIALLY women carry weight differently. I've met women who gained it in the right places like their boobs and butt, and others who gained it in all the wrong places like their stomachs and thighs. Some women can look good with a bit of extra weight, and some absolutely cannot. Genetics are weird.

Remember that men arent allowed to have preferences in todays society. Women can, and are applauded for such things, but men? Nope. Youre an asshole if you like styfd or dont like stuff.

I went on a few dates with an astrology nut about 6 years ago. We clicked, had fun, and enjoyed each others company like 3 times before she asked me what my sign was. When I told her, she clammed up for the rest of the night, and then ghosted me. Its mind boggling to me.

Sounds sort of like what happened to me with my college gf, but without the child (we never had kids, thanks god). We lived in an apartment but needed to have a roommate because she "couldn't afford" to split rent with me. A dude i went to high school with moved in with us and she basically hated him instantly for no reason. I explained to her that we couldn't get rid of him unless she was willing to pay more in rent to help me with the bills. She said she couldn't (really wouldnt), so we were s…

The whole "just listen. Dont solve my problems" thing has always said one thing to me: I want the problem to continue so I can vent. If you have a problem, you should solve it. If you have a problem and vent to another, youre either asking them to solve it or flaunting the fact that you have something going on in your life, even if its bad. Its just another attention grab

Wow you really lined everything up nicely there. Im very impressed. Thank you. It must really suck to live a life where they lie to themselves and everyone else so much.

My favorite detail that i didnt mention in my OP was that her cheating incident apparently happened in another state from where we all live. She drove literal hours to cheat on her husband. That ain't just a momentary lapse of judgement lol. That wasnt a mistake at ALL

Oh she totally is, and is an acquaintance and not a friend for that very reason. I was honestly just kind of ambushed with this conversation from the beginning. Gossip isnt my thing.

Exactly. It also never leaves your mind. Ever. If you get back together with a cheater, there will ALWAYS be a part of you that questions their loyalty. Even if its small after many years, its still there. Poison to a relationship thats supposed to last a lifetime, such as marriage.

I think part if it is that men are realizing that pussy just isnt THAT great, and we can live just fine on our own. Top that with the fact that women these days tend to be a net loss at the end of the day. Are you getting laid? Yeah, but you're also spending more money, practicing your hobbies less often, exhausting your empathetic energy much faster by being her free therapist, and seeing your friends less. Guys are realizing that the cons outweigh the pros.

I was having a conversation with a female acquaintance recently regarding a mutual friend. This mutual friend got married like a year and and a half ago, and we just found out she cheated within a year of marriage. She and her husband separated for a time, but are trying to reconcile. I said something along the lines of "if he gets back together with her, hes an idiot". My friend tried to defend the girl by saying everyone makes mistakes and marriages are complicated. We don't know the full stor…

Had a buddy who waz talking to a single mom a while back. I said to him, "just remember the number one rule for dating single moms". He asked, "oh? Whats that?". I said, "Dont date single moms".

My abusive ex told me he wasnt comfortable with me getting a hotel room with my high school friend Tyrone so we could do coke and "catch up" all night while he had to work. Hes the worst.

Was chatting with my teenage nephew who is just under 2 years from going off to college and I told him something along the lines of, "you have to be VERY careful with girls in college. College hookup culture is still very much alive, but we also live in an age where a girl can wake up the next day, regret her decision, and now youre a rapist. Best to avoid one-nighters unless you have rock-solid proof of consent.". My sister (his mom) actually had my back on what i said too. In short, the "alway…

Youre absolutely right. Ill list a few reasons for why ive been rejected by women in the past for reference: 1.) I work at a grocery store. Not "prestigious" enough 2.) I was a soldier from the ages of 18 to 22. No idea why a job i left over 10 years ago is a deal-breaker, but it was 3.) Not muscular enough. Im no twink and Im strong as an ox, but i dont "look like it". 4.) I dont keep a beard. My facial hair is weird and i look better clean shaven, but ok. 5.) Im tall, but our height difference…

Yep. Ive heard men say they wont date a woman because she's fat, but thats almost always when the woman is downright obese. Im a man who actually prefers a woman with some meat on her bones. I like em thick, but ive dated a marathon runner, a ballerina, and a kickboxer. All were very slim and trim. Also, as i said, I like women with big breasts, but have never said "oh, smaller than DD? No thanks". Women claim men objectify women and have unrealistic standards, but its really the opposite in my …

I just dont understand the obsession with height. Like, why is that such a deciding factor in them choosing their partners. We all have physical attributes that we like in a partner, but the fact that so many women REQUIRE their man to be over 6 feet is insane to me. Like, I like women with big breasts, but I have been with many women who lack that attribute. At the end of the day, its a preference, but in no way a deal breaker. Women? 5'11.5" is a total turn off and you dont even exist to her a…

When I was younger and on tinder, I got this question all the time. I said i was tall in my profile and that was almost always asked within the first 5 messages. At first, I would tell them, and i would either get ghosted or i would maybe get a date and find out how shallow and vapid she was in person. After a while, and having being kind of tall (6'4") never work for me, i just started asking them what their bra size was when they asked for my height. That was far more entertaining in a few way…

Basically. Gotta save that 11% female graduation rate!! As far as I can remember, he left the following year as well due to the incident.

False accusations are RAMPANT in the military. I did my first year of college at a service academy, and left after year 1 to enlist. The reason I left was because a guy in my company was falsely accused, went to trial over it (within the academy), and the accusation was proven to be false. At this point, youd think she would be punished, and he would be done with it, right? Nope, they were both punished equally. That's when I knew I had to get out of there.

I spent 2 years supporting an ex. In retrospect, she was a complete degenerate, but I was too young and stupid to recognize it. Anyway, i worked, went to college, graduated, got a job, and started bringing in the money. Things were good for a while. We talked about getting married. Then, things went south financially. I was doing my best, but I just couldn't float us anymore, and then we moved into a new house (rental, thank god). After a couple months, she went to visit her parents and back hom…

Bingo! He told her that due to covid, they cant afford a new one right now, but that I had agreed to look at it and try to get it working again for free. It wasnt even that old of a phone. Maybe 18 months old. Maybe.

I love it, and it's not a tough as people think. All you need is some basic equipment, a steady hand, and patience haha. I started out when I was a teenager. I had found an old copy of conkers bad fur day for n64 that wouldn't boot. I think a friend gave it to me, and I said I would fix it. It took a while since i didnt really know what i was doing, but that was kind of like my tutorial.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Nowadays, when I start to wish I could go to a bar, I crack a cold one open and hit up this sub while I chill on my couch. Cheers, boys.

Oh they have taken serious hits in the last few months. Average occupancy is down, and so are events. My one friend who still works there says that it's like a night and day difference, and now shes impossible to be around because shes stressed out and pissed off all the time. Well, no wonder. You fired everyone who actually did work, and now she has to do it all herself.

I wont lie, I wanted to look through it, but decided not to since that would be a breach of trust not with her, but with my buddy who came to me for a favor. I will say, however, that I know this girl, and I can say pretty definitely that shes almost definitely not cheating. Shes not smart enough to pull that off lol. Shes mad because she was wrong, and her idea on what to do didnt work. It's an ego thing

I've fixed more n64's than anything, but I love doing repairs on old NES and SNES systems. So many people have non-funcioning onea that they saved from their childhood, and it gives me a lot of pleasure to see how happy they are when their old consoles will boot up and play games again. I normally try not to go any newer than playstation 2 as the layouts inside those newer consoles get crazy complicated and hard to disassemble. I also LOVE refurbishing cartridges. it's like a little puzzle.

I got a text from another guy who worked under me. He was a bartender for large events as well as a cook when we didnt have an event. Great dude. Hard worker, but looked a little rough around the edges (tattoos, beard, always wore old chucks to work in). She had fired him about 15 minutes prior. I called my GM and quit then and there.

This shit really grinds my gears. Like, women are (or claim to be) terrified of EVERYTHING these days, and every time the reason is "BUT ILL GET RAPED!!". Actually, you almost definitely will not get raped walking one block to the store at 8 pm. You wont. The supposed "fear" is either total naivete, or yet another manipulation tactic to get men to do things for them. It drives me insane.

Similar thing happened to me last year. Was managing guest relations and events for a mid-sized hotel in my city, and doing a damn good job if I say so myself. 2 years in, and i had gone from an hourly supervisor to someone directly responsible for a huge chunk of the hotels revenue. In july, we brought in a female manager inherited late 20s. Seemed nice at first, but also very guarded and kind of standoffish. Anyway, 90 days post hire (end of her probationary period), and she starts axing my st…
