A question I love to ask is, what observable phenomena would count as evidence against the existence of the patriarchy? People really struggle to answer that question, to which I respond that the existence of the patriarchy is thus not falsifiable, and thus not scientific, and thus not rational and thus not worth discussing. I'm really lucky, I GOT to college in the recession so when I graduated, the job market was decent. And now I'm financially stable, and I'm lucky enough to live in Florida where I can pretty much go out and about as I please, or drive to the beach in ten minutes just to chill.
