I feel like this is no longer an argument because I pretty much resonate with what you are saying here, but maybe I can interest you in some unsolicited advice... You would be wise to keep this conceptual structures you are building a little more flexible. People that are able to develop original models (or maybe they believe in a pre-existing concept, but they arranged and staked their arguments themselves), tend to in believe them too much and this models sometimes trap them a little. Maybe pe…

I'm sure this is true for some people but their IQ must at least 135 (because people who would intentionally overpower them have to be 145 and they are as rare as you are describing them to be). I'm also sure that there are people like this around here because internet. But what I don't get is your passion for flexing your intelligence. It seems so petty and immature and like it would be boring and repetitive. This truly reads like you might just be an asshole.

This whole argument is repeated do often that it's turning into a myth. And it truly is mythological due to the imagination it takes to make it. Women don't chase after men. Some do, but that is statistically irrelevant. The only analogous to chasing would be that someone women get emotionally hung up on men that don't want relationships. 5/10 guys (or just guys that are uglier than the girls) pump and dump to, if you give them a chance. Nobody enters a committed relationship because their partn…

The third option is that sizeable portion of men actually don't care about it, but they just say they do. I'm not saying that it's a conscious deception, but they are just looking for a reason for why they feel the way they do and this gives them a reason to blame women. It's so much easier to say that the body count is the problem than to say that we have no idea how to connect to each other.

The survey you cited could also be interpreted as men not caring about bc that much. Think about it, 40% of men would marry a porn star, which is an extreme example of high bc. Idk, what you think a high bc is. 20% of a pornstars maybe? If we assume linear correlation, could that mean 88% would marry a high bc girl? And 12% is something but it doesn't have nearly as much weight as people claim it does. Women care, because this notion of high bc is being used to shame them and portray them as bro…

How do we know that it's a large portion? I think this feeling is skewed because this space is a bubble. Also, a lot of people with a religious background have been socially conditioned which is later hard to separate from instinctual feelings. And I don't think your examples apply; women are usually dating taller men, because men are on average taller and men don't like morbidity obese women because like you said they are in a morbid (diseased) state and health is a factor in attraction.

The problem with body count preferences is generalisation, tho. It's always framed like "we men like...", but like you said it's only your personal instinctive response. Peoples personal preferences should not be used to explain a whole gender dynamic, you can't say that certain women are unattractive, just because they are unattractive to you.

I disagree. I can imagine him pulling girls when he was working in a service industry, for example. I worked in it for a while and I have a feeling how this things go down. All this kind of guy needs is a moment of your attention. Also, he radiates intelligence which is irresistible to a certain kind of woman. Women crave to be understood in some aspects and he is pretty good in understanding things.

Is this post just meant to share your experience or are you looking to change your situation? I think what you described is very interesting. Sexuality without a connection is indeed boring, no matter how spicy we try to make it. And I feel like in the centre of current relationship issues is our inability to form romantic connections. Anyway, I find your post interesting because some iterations of this would probably be told by any young woman who is choosing not to be sexually active.

Not true. As a female destiny viewer his success is pure game. Like the way he flirts with girls on stream sometimes or just the way his tone changes or the way he casually comments on little things when the conversation is slow... I can't really explain it. He is never aggressive or inappropriate, he lets people know he is feeling them in the most casual way. And then resumes the conversation and respects what people have to say. I never feel like he is sexualising people. Idk, there is just so…

I like intelligent men. Like, blow my mind about something I thought about a million times before and show me a new perspective, type of intelligent. I can immediately sense them when they walk into a room, even before they speak to me. I just can't ignore this force attracting me to them. I think I crave to be challenged and even deeper, I think I crave to be dominated.

Most women legitimately have no reason to be in a relationship outside of marriage and having kids and it is "destroying the dating market". Women usually care for their partners needs more than their partner cares for theirs. They help them whenever they need help, take care of their chores and accomodate them, simply because they can anticipate what their partner needs, which is due to them being more empathic. But they rarely get this in return and if they get is it is still far from what the…

CMV: Worrying about n count is rooted in fundamentalist religions. Demand for female chastity has been used for centuries by these religions to suppress and control women. To make them small, scared and obedient and it was all achived threw guilt and shame. The n count "standard" is a mean of control and n count concerned are always learned from religions.

No one cared about body count in the 90' or 00', except for extremely religious people. Well at least no one was shamed and discarded for it. Men here want you to believe that caring about n count is natural, but that is a lie, it's completely cultural. You have been conditioned to care about this, you have been convinced to feel repulsed. N count is just another tool to subjugate women and bridge their autonomy, don't let your love life be affected by an interests of this neoliberal conservativ…

Has anyone here read Men without women from Murakami? This book made me have so much compassion for men, especially when they are hurting. I've read it with my friends and now when we encounter someone who embodies this archetype we just say "he is such a man without woman" as to indicate that he is experiencing something whitch we can't fully comperhand.

I am physically attracted to masculine man, but when it comes to personality not all masculine traits work for me. I need my partner to have well developed communication skills and to be ok with me dominating sometimes. I'm naturally dominant, in a social settings there is usually a small percent of people who decide to follow me and we form a sorth of pact. If this doesn't happen, I'm fine with being on my own. Also, I can only get invested (let's say in projects) if I have a creative autonomy,…

Autonomy is a right to self govern and if some women want to forfeit this right voluntarily, they have every right to. But who says it's "most". I can just as easily say most women wants to keep their autonomy. You don't have to worry very much that your partner would be financially dependant on you, because most people work. So using financial reasons to have a say in what she does is a mu point. But TRP man still claim some right to interfere with their partners autonomy without any basis, whi…

I know this is an attempt at humor and I think it's also kind of working. I've been asked to defend my claim and now I would like to ask you to do the same. Nobody wants to be in an unequal relationship. No human, animal or plant, there must be always high enough reciprocity for a relationship to persist. But that doesn't mean that both parties play an exzact same role, it means that they play complementary roles. And I know, that TRP believes that it promotes this principle and to some point (like division of labor) it does. But where it fails to enforce harmony is when it comes to autonomy. A lot of RP principles stifles female autonomy and gives …

Red pill is saying it is natural for women to please men, whether by defaulting to their judgment or by striving to uphold mens standards. But it doesn't promote reciprocity in the same areas. This creates an unbalanced relationship with a clear hierarchy, casting woman in an unfavorable position. And it is being justified by an appeal to nature, saying women are inherently worth less then man. I don't take issue with someone's personal values. You can't impose a value on anyone, because that is bridge of their autonomy and if our values differ we can just go our separate ways. Different to values, morals are not personal but are societal. You can't hold a subjective moral, if you belive it is subjective it's not a moral but a value. If you believe something is moral, you also need to believe that everybody should obey it. If you don't belive everybody shuld obey a moral, it means you …

By your logic a blue collar worker who can somehow make it so that his wife only has to work part time is massively more competent than someone with a stay at home wife, but he comes from money. If you measure competence by relative progress, you should agree with that. If not, your view that being able to provide is a sign of competence, is elitist.

Rape is non consensual and it has a victim, that is why it's immoral. Intentionally causing harm is an example of something immoral and I think we can largely agree why. But what makes an act of casuall sex immoral? What makes it so bad that we put it in the same chategory as intentionally causing harm?

I don't personally think sex is just a skin to skin contact. But on a mechanical level, it is just a skin to skin contact. I wanted someone to explain how and why does it get moraly colored. A lot of people here are saying it's immorale because it's their person view. However, we shouldn't conflate the two. We understand that personal views are not ulitamete truths, but when we say something is moral or not, we act like it is an ultimate truth. I could also ask if he thinks that pair bonding is …

I agree when you say it's immoral to intentionally emotionally hurt someone (in this case your casual sex partner). I am not sure if it is immoral to put yourself in a situation where we can be emotionally hurt. The only immoral thing here is causing emotional pain to others. But does it extended beyond sex. Like what if someone has a history of exploiting his employes, which can be also seen as extremely immoral. Does that make him an unfit to be a partner due to morals? Or is sexual emotional …

Not denying it is extremely vulnerable and intimate. But if we forgo possibility of making children by using protection, can we really say that the release of bonding chemicals is moral. Maybe it is, idk, but if you say something is moral you need to be able to explain why. If not, you don't understand your morality very well. And if you don't understnad it, then it's just dogma. There is a reason why they say, don't bring your knife to the fight and your dogma to the debate.

Yeah, I have no way to estimate how many women feel similar to me. But to lust after someone who hurt you or misstrates you seems very unhealthy. If that is the case she has bigger problems. I would also guess that anatomycal penis is not very high on the list when it comes to marrige.

And my point is that a lot of women can't isolate the memory of sex from the memory of the relationship. So purely sexually best often doesn't exist. I can't compare my current partner to someone from my past whom I've lost all respect for. I don't even want to think about this person now, even if at the time I would say it was amazing. For women the current partner is automatically their best partner. Remember, she broke up with all the previous partners or they broke up with her. There is/was probably some animosity btwen the exes and it is difficult to hold on to good memories when you no longer like the person. She is not compering the sex, but an entire relationship. What you see as a display of male competence is incredibly elitis. I don't know if you know this, but upwards social mobility is extremely low, especially in late capitalist societies. A lot of men don't get a chance to provide for a whole familly, but I would never say that a blue color worker can't be masculine.

Submissive is not synonyms with kind, feminine and family oriented. TRP is trying to conflate this tems to convince women that if they want to be the latter they need to submit. And it is also using the term to subbmit, to appeal to men with fragile egos. Why does a mens rights movment need a pejorative term for kind, feminine and family oriented, anyway?

I love how you say lazy and annoying. I see this in my friends who aspire to be "submissive". They are not willing to go out of their comfort zone and other people are expected to do dirty or heavy chores. They are not capable of taking care of themselves in many ways. This implies that casual sex is a human right. It is not. If the only way for them to be sexualy active is to be in a relationship and they find sex to be very important, than they shuld work hard on building a relationships. Yeah, they are probaly going to have to make some compromises, but so what? They are not todlers anymore and their partner shuldn't be expacted to grant their every wish. A partner is not a parent. Instinctually having this preference is fine i guess, but why are guys telling other guys they should too care about it? Women don't have to tell other women they should care about idk, hight. But even this preference itself is kind of immature and whiny. Like how can't a man wrap his mind around the fact that a woman existed and lived her life before he met her. Yeah, it's basic logic to increase your value if you want a better bargain position. But maybe your value was fine, and your approach to women wasn't. Your approach is another way to increase your value. But than TRP told you that your value in money and looks is the problem, and now you have an excuse to not have to work on your approach.

I wonder if you felt this way before redpill told you to feel this way. Sure it is not your kid, but you can still have significant impact in their life and a strong relationship that lasts a lifetime, and I think many stepfathers have just that. I mean, of course you can choose for yourself whatever you like, but don't be so disparaging to stepdads and don't say they were humiliated.

I don't care about the actual number of bodies, but I care about how he got to that number. If he strung most of women along, wasn't super clear that he was only interested in them sexually and dumped them because he was lazy, than this would be a problem. I wouldn't want to be whit someone to whom women attached a lot of negative emotions.

This sound like something someone would say before the discovery of microscope, when people believed that woman's body was just a vessel where a child developed from the man's sperm.

Lack of attraction and I can't pin point it to something measurable. I have been attracted men of various hight and sizes, and although I'm most often attracted to a certain type, that in itself doesn't disqualify anyone. But I am strongly attracted to certain facial features, and a lack of those or opposite features, would for me disqualify someone. The other one is being outside of my communication range. Communication range is generally defined as +/- 2 standard divinations (about 30 IQ point…

Yeah, to some extend. But here is the thing, TRP is an entire ideology based largely on prejudice. There's just no equivalent of it on the female side. If you were thinking feminism there are few key differences. Feminism pointed out systemic inequalities that were at the time measurable (I'm not referring to the wage gap but things like the right to initiate divorce). It didn't attack male character, and it didn't paint men as conniving creatures that are deliberately extracting recourses from …

Preference and prejudice are not synonymous. Definition of prejudice is "preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience". I don't think it is common for people to be able to identify their own prejudice.

Why not? In any other situation you would inform the affected party that the relationship was terminated. No need to explain why, although a cordial "I wasn't feeling it" would probably be nice. It validates whatever good times you shred and helps to ease the bad vibes of confusion in case you will ever run into them again.

Not saying that the standards need to be lowered. The "hot" remark was just to emphasise what you think makes a good partner. More than that, I was trying to say that relationship doesn't simply appear once you hit your goals, but is yet another area of life people need to work on. And having everything in order sure helps, but is probably not the key.

This has the energy of "if i do everything right, a hot virgin needs to be granted to me". But it is more like, if you are willing to work together to build a life with someone, respect them and make sacrifice for them, than you deserve someone who is willing to do the same for you. Nah, the issue OP is having is that we normalised discarding romantic parents. If this girl went on a date or few or even slept with someone who than ghosted her, in her mind she really doesn't have to have a reason why she ghosted OP. It could be as simple as she just didn't feel like typing. It is not ok to ghost girl just because, "yeah I'm a dude and I really like sex". Yes, natural is a difficult term to work with because, like you said, it is hard to determine when it stops being applicable. The initial term I'm responding to is actually "inherent biological behaviour", but in the context it was used I find it to be synonymous with "natural behaviour". And because term natural is so broad it is easy to demonstrate naturalistic fallacy we commit when we refer to a gender role as "inherent biological behaviour". Or so I thought, because interestingly enough you…

I agree with that, by only looking at what status females have in the system relative to the status of females in comparable systems, we can't reliably identify whether social organisations is patriarchal. But defining who's role is more important is a bit more difficult when it comes to human societies. If a society is matrilineal, a woman is head of the household and men don't participate in raising of their children, even if men take on other important roles, I wouldn't call that a patriarcha…

I've briefly looked into the controversy surrounding usage of the term matriarchal and from what I could find you are right, it is disputed whether it applies or not. Non-patriarchal is probably a more appropriate term I should have used. However, I think that existence of non-patriarchal societies proves my point just as well. Even if those practices in ancient Greece were condemned by some it doesn't mean that they weren't championed by others. They existed and they speak on diversity of what …

The experience you described at the beginning of this post is exactly the experience I've been having, except I'm a female. How do you explain that? Actually, don't explain that, because it is a rhetorical point. Personally, much like OP, i have developed a web of theories around it, and I might never know if there is any truth to them, again much like OP. Maybe, just for the fun of it, we can start thinking about this issue as a collective phenomenon as oppose to a gender one.

It is hard to say, homo sapiens left Africa around 200.000 years ago, and the oldest civilisation is officially max 10.000 years ago. The whole point of evo-psych is that our brain hasn't significantly changed in those 10.000 years, since we developed civilisations. No, it was a genuine question. I haven't picked up on that being a super strong pattern and I was curious about the male perspective. Hypergamy is overrated. Women are normally happy to, and even prefer to date within their socio-economic class. Sex is a different experience for women than it is for man, apparently. You can have the best sex of your life, but if the guy doesn't treat you right outside of it, you start to view that sexual experience as negative. Sex is just one aspect of an emotional bond witch is what women actually seek. For most, to have a satisfactory sexual relationship they need to have emotional security. It is just easier to find that in a committed relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 12:39 PM

Yes, that is a bit of an exaggeration. I am trying to say that even with a lot of self improvement to some men women are not going to be radially available. They are still going to have to pursue women, or chase if you will, and that is something TRP discourages. The point at which you no longer have to chase in unattainable for most. The advice men need to hear is that they need to learn to pursue women, and not that they need to wait for women to pursue them.

Self improvement is good for everyone, no question about it. Those men are only focusing on getting laid not on cultivating a relationship. But for them, sex might available threw a relationship, and in their case red-pill has its order wrong.

I didn't notice any external factors (from the dating world itself), that are making dating hard for you. It needs to be dealt with individually, but exploring where low self-esteem comes from is a part of that. And ideologies have been know to impact people's sense of self. But not necessarily in the red-pill sense. Maybe the emotional connection isn't strong enough or she doesn't feel secure or supported. It is still not good enough but I don't see anyone taking about how to improve on that.

I too agree with the part that teaches men to step up. Frankly, all adults need to step up. But, idk if all of its teachings are painting the world for what it really is. How are you stepping up, if you are still using people around you? TRP encourages men to use women for sex, for example. Also, you need to be able to question what you think reality is to evolve your views. Red-pill seem to have very little room for adjustments.

Self-improvement is of course good for everyone and should be encouraged. I just find an issue with the idea that you need to be this finished product, before you can be take seriously. I am learning this more and more everyday on this sub, I wasn't fully aware of its magnitude previously. That is why everything TRP theorises is so nonsensical.

But the idea that a woman would just 'use' a beta men to start a family after she had her fun is inherently wrong. Stating a family with someone has a significantly bigger meaning for women than fucking someone. You need a true partner to have a family, someone who is capable to work with you in synergy and that is why women chose this person so carefully. It is dumb to have your children's father be someone you are just using.
