I’ll wait3 times in the last thirty years. Once to stop a discussion about invading Iraq. Twice for bills to transfer Crown powers to parliament. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 27/07/18 12:48 PM
I’ll waitSeemingly self interest ironically. IIRC she refused the discussion on a military attack on Iraq in 1999 this had something to do with transferring powers in war from her to parliament. She refused the bills which would remove the crowns immunity and I can't remember the house of Lords one I'm afraid. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 27/07/18 12:51 AM
I’ll waitThree times in the last 30 years the Queen has withheld consent against two bills and one military actions debate. She said no. Parliament obeyed Edit. Just want to say I'm not implying she isn't a figurehead with less powers than ever etc just that there are examples of this happening. As you say it risks being deposed but she is still here and I never said she had those powers in Canada which is why I didn't use Canada as an example | /r/PussyPassDenied | 26/07/18 11:37 PM

Cop who punched female football fan (who slapped him) cleared of wrongdoingNo I'm not. You're spouting fact for your opinion when the whole point of situational training is to not lash out. I won't continue the conversation because you can't consider that hitting an unarmed and restrained person is wrong. Have a good day sir | /r/PussyPassDenied | 01/12/17 08:17 AM
Cop who punched female football fan (who slapped him) cleared of wrongdoingEliminating the threat? Who did she threaten with her missed slap? The correct approach would be to instantly restrain that arm. Fuck I would be in his corner if he grabbed the arm and ended up breaking it. That is dealing with the threat. Not punching a person in the face who has no way of defending herself. I hope you are never given authority over someone. His training will have been to restrain the arm. The same as someone holding a knife. Eliminating the threat is to isolate the weapon and … | /r/PussyPassDenied | 30/11/17 08:05 PM
Cop who punched female football fan (who slapped him) cleared of wrongdoingIt entirely is. Police. Fire. Ambulance. Military are all trained in discipline and handling situations like this. This is a lack of training or he chose not to implement his training. Either way he failed his duty by hitting a restrained person because she swiped at him with no damage. I'm all up for PPD but my answer would be no different if it was a male. At no point would I expect an officer to hit a restrained person. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 30/11/17 07:37 PM
