16 isn't a minor. She was 15 when they started having sex and he was 17. He was over age of consent and she was under.

A chance to get a new identity though.

I dunno dude. America; where your partner cheats on you and then kicks you out of your own home, keeps the kids, then, forces you to pay for her and her new guy to live there together with your kids....America seems pretty bad when it comes to mens rights.

Pretty sure there are countries in the world that would stone you to death if a woman was found to have committed adultery.

Considering that her brother killed himself and had mental health issues due to his benefits changing; you would think that she would be in a position to understand how shit the situation is for men in the UK in regards to mental health and benefits. You would think she might want to remedy that situation considering it cost her brother his life. But nope....she's riding the gravy train on feminism causes!

Wondering if he realises that there are shitloads of clubs that do 'women's entrance free' promotions. Will he be doing that in future for men?

The article states that the judges concern was with any potential future risk she posed towards children and that 'The police will now apply for a Sexual Risk Order to be imposed on the woman. If it is granted, it will prevent her from having unauthorised contact with children. She will appear in court again on Thursday'

Can't be a sexual predator if he has money and is hot! There are different rules for beautiful people! I remember reading that 50 shades of Grey was only a love story because he was rich and hot, if he had been a poor guy and tied her up in a caravan, it would have been an episode of CSI instead!

I saw the headline!..thought about vampirism being the cure....briefly considered investing in lifejackets!....cause I'm sure the subsequent flood of wet panties from teeny twilight fans could be the next great threat to humanity*! *(excluding Japan, who will not see it as a threat but a great cause for celebration!)

If she did, it would mean the cure would be sex with 12 year old boys....can't imagine anyone's healthcare covering the costs for that treatment!

You're confusing us with countries that actually care about mental health. The system here only really takes notice with the violent ones.

She was mentally ill/mentally retarded. Hence why she was considered by two different psychiatrists to be 'unfit to plead'. While I agree that often the law is more lenient with women for sexual crimes, I don't think that this particular example is Good one for making the arguement of double standards.

They get told to "man up", "tough it out", "grow a pair" .....etc...until one day they either end up snapping or they survive that day and continue to end up living a broken life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
