A lot of ways. Some universities offer bachelors programs in it to get you certified, or businesses have internships. The pay is good. I started as a specialist at 63k annual, but I had some military experience. OSHA is one way, or you could work for DOD; I would recommend this. Bases in Japan, Italy, Germany, and the pay is pretty good considering.

If you miss military structure you could do a guard or reserve enlistment; state GI bill benefits plus if you are in a rut they can give you orders or temp tech jobs to get you through a rough patch.

I can relate to that feeling as well; we try and take solace in the fact that things will turn out better for us than them in the future but we will never know. I think the two are very compatible. Especially if you dig into proverbs it shares insight into female nature. I think Christianity has been co-opted and is now construed with patriotism, traditionalism, and the like; which is unfortunate. Like any spiritual journey it is primarily a personal one in which only you can decide if you're beliefs are truly compatible with the way I which you decide to live.
