Aaw... Didn't even notice it was my cake day... And now I lost on all that karma whoring... :( But thanks, my friend! :)

Not at all! You're 100% right there. I just wanted to fix the logic that something is only graphic if your root for the victim. If an overly sensitive person watches this video they could find it graphic even though they root against the women. OP tagged this as NSFW because some people don't want to see others get shot regardless if they're rooting for or against them.

How much a person finds something disturbing has little to do with which side they're on. If I saw a video of NAZIs being burnt alive or ISIS members being beheaded I'd still find it highly disturbing.

Any kind of genital mutilation is unacceptable I struggle to understand how (mostly American) society as a whole hasn't come to that conclusion yet (most of the world doesn't perform that). That being said we must acknowledge there are several degrees of FGM and although all of which are wrong people tend to focus on the complete removal of clitoris and sowing together of labia. If we focus on that then no I don't think it's comparable with circumcision. That, of course, doesn't mean I'm ok with…

Yeah, I'm not very keen on the sequel specially after the previous train wreck. I'd just rather if they left this amazing movie alone as I don't believe it's possible to replicate that magic. Even without the blatant virtue signaling.

GB1 and 2 had minority and female representation in such a way it wasn't just checking a box for "token black guy" and actually wrote a good character and was an amazing movie. Now they want to force diversity in a horribly insulting way and the public isn't open to that virtue signaling and gets called racist... Fuck them. They'll realize it eventually.

I seriously can't understand how they don't see the irony in this... I get the whole "feminism! woohoo!" thing but this whole segment seems something out of the twilight zone or the onion. I'll just copy-paste a comment I left on another sub: "I think it's slightly annoying as it turns some stuff into "toxic" and I'm not sure who (or how specifically Gillette) got to make that distinction. Sexual harassment is obviously wrong so I'll ignore that because I assume we can all agree on that. But, for example, many (school)yard fights (like you have those kids doing) aren't necessarily bullying or even "wrong" and much less toxic. I fought friends when I was a kid and then we made up a…

He never made any assumptions. He only asked (very valid) questions. You're the only one assuming he's innocent. Why should we automatically assume the men's innocent either? Both stances are wrong... If a person make an allegation we should take it seriously and investigate the facts without making any assumptions on who is the innocent party... Fact is: this story brings very little actual information for one to base an opinion on. If you're basing your apparently unfounded opinion on some bet…

Wtf? Are you high? That's exactly what I'm saying. The couple won't only share financial burden but many other things that will all equate on the decision of both the men and women. If the guy decides he doesn't want the kid the women's question won't be only "can I afford this".

A partner doesn't only provide financial support. What kind of cynical view about parenting is that?
/r/MensRights20/12/18 09:10 AM

This is bullshit. Most women don't think like that. Having or not a partner to raise a child changes everything and if the men decides he doesn't want to take part of it then the women needs time to make her choice too... This is a group for men's rights, not for hating on women...

I'm really happy not only to see this post but to see these many upvotes... From time to time this sub can be slightly hostile towards women... And I really do love women. I think we sometimes forget how the internet and sites like reddit work as an echo chamber but, in reality, I've never met a women/feminist that subscribes to all the crazy stuff we see online. I understand, but I still don't see how that should influence your choice of lawyer. What I mean is: How/why do you think that by choosing a female lawyer your chances of winning increase?
/r/MensRights15/08/18 12:57 PM

I've never been in that situation (thankfully) but I'd totally pick a female lawyer. If for nothing else because she might get some extra sympathy from the judge (specially if its a female judge). Although I am obviously against such a repulsive law the way it's worded leads me to believe that this is to prevent someone's biological father to reappear 16 years later and dismantle the family created in his absence. It's still fucked up, it'll still get people stuck with kids who aren't their own which is not acceptable in any way, and forces people to live in a lie instead of facing the truth and rebuilding after that. There's a third option. Print a waiver where you expressly say you are not trained nor qualified as a hairdresser and you are only agreeing to cut their hair because you don't have a choice despite all your warnings otherwise and referrals to other, qualified, service providers. If they don't like the results they waive any right to a refund or to sue you.

It's not about the word but how you use it. You can be white and call a black friend a nigger (hard r) in a way that makes him laugh and be cool about it while calling another person a "stupid highly pigmented person" in a very obviously racist way. It's not the word, it's how you use it... That's why I completely dislike the PC culture of policing words. Words aren't the problem, it's the though behind them that is and any person well adjust in society should be able to understand that easily.

There shouldn't even be a "they"! If they think the current groups aren't able to help them and if they think your can, why shouldn't you help??? Would you rather have them indoctrinated with the narrative of "all men are rapists" or, even worse, "men refused to help you! See? We told you men are evil!" or would you prefer to have a group that gives them a positive image that men aren't bad and that we want to help everyone regardless of gender? By making this gender distinction with no logical …

Good, as there should be! The fact that we need more support groups for male doesn't take away the fact the women need support as well. Also if this group is targeting male victims I believe barely any women will seek help there. If they do it's because you're doing a great job and they find in your group some kind of support they don't find on others, so why should you deprive them from the help they need and seek just because of their gender? Are you, by helping a couple of girls or women, in …

Then receiving support from females will show them that not all women are equal and that they can trust a person without considering their gender... Which, you know... It's what we all want anyway...

I wouldn't exclude female victims altogether. If you want to show crazy feminists what they're doing wrong you do it by doing things right and not by making the same mistakes and perpetuating the cycle of discrimination. As this is right now I can already imagine it being labeled a "misogynistic hate group" for excluding "female rape victims from getting support"...

In Portugal we have the same law but you need to live together for 3 uninterrupted years which seems much more sensible... Still the couple doesn't enjoy all the same protections of a married couple and I'm 99% sure this excludes asset split and alimony (thank god)! It’s an unfortunate name for an important concept, and I wish we had a better way of referring to it because I think it’s an important conversation to have. Yeah, I can understand that. Yes I appreciate that but, again, being tough isn't inherently toxic. Like everything in life it only depends to which degree you are tough. Not expressing sadness is wrong but being so sensitive that you take emotional pain from irrelevant things is also bad. I don't think masculinity is inherently bad as I d…

I did not say feminist. I said feminists. I wasn't talking about the director I was talking about the jury that awarded the director this prize. As for your other argument... Yeah I can agree with you on that.

I don't think it's ironic. If anything it's a bit eye opening to me as it shows that not all feminists are batshit crazy...

Because higher education is more tailored to women and girls, resulting in a higher high school and college dropout rate for boys resulting in a less qualified workforce resulting in men having to accept more dangerous work resulting in higher work mortality rates.

If a woman you cared about got knocked the fuck out after throwing a drink at someone A women I'd care about wouldn't go around throwing drinks at peoples faces... She used her pussy pass and had it denied. If her size is such an issue she should consider it the next time she decides to antagonize someone like that...

It's on topic, as far as I could see it wasn't posted before and it's not against the sub rules to post old(er) links. So the question is in fact: Why shouldn't I post shit from 2.5 years ago? A follow up would be: How old can a link be before you deem it unacceptable? Anyway, if you look closely just under the upvote icon there's another one. It's called a "downvote". If you disagree with my post feel free to click there to show you disagreement.

To be honest I have a hard time accepting intoxication as any kind of rape (unless, of course, you passed out). Most people drink precisely to become more sociable, confident and frisky... Sometimes even to lower their standards. I can't really understand how we went from a culture of walks of shame after sleeping with a 2 to calling rape the next morning when you regret having had sex. If you don't want sex don't drink too much and then go to a girls/guys bedroom alone in the middle of the nigh…

I only downvoted the second because it's the least constructive one. Your other comments more or less present arguments... Anyway, unless you a mod or the found of this sub I don't really think it's your place to say if my comments should or should not be here... Actually you've got more downvotes than me so I'm not sure what you're on about! I'm all about defending and promoting mens rights but I don't want to start the same ghost war feminists started. We're not fixing a problem by making the same mistakes as our enemy (I use enemy very broadly in lack of a better word). Either way I'm not trying to tell you what to do or say. You're free to do as you please. I'm just sharing my opinion and debating a topic. I feel like that's what the purpose of this …

Because that implies there is a system to fight... It's the exact same issue with feminism. There is no system. Just a bunch of stupid people with false believes that if you need to educate and correct, not "fight"... The article is talking about men that fight back against individual allegations that were wrongly placed against them. They aren't fighting the system. They are using the system to get justice and to fight lying whores... EDIT: Just to further my point I'd like to add that the noti…

I'm just disputing your empty claim... I'm all on board with you. We need to be vigilant and speak up against injustice. But empty statements like "fight the system" mean nothing and only serve to further divide us!

I'm not fully 100% sure this qualifies as PPD... I mean, he got her and everything but the other guys were all "dude, you crossed the line" after he got punched a couple of times while she was laughing. I know I saw her bleeding and all but I just didn't get the satisfaction. Like, I'd obviously be ok if they tried to keep them apart and break the thing up. But they sided with her so I don't know... Just wanted to get this off my chest...

Did you see the size of the kids? I agree they'll probably turn up pieces of shit because of the education they're getting but they're certainly not "corrupted". If took them from those parents and gave them to a "normal" family there's still plenty of time to raise them right. Sadly that's not the fate they're going to have so thy'll most probably end up perpetuating the cycle of pieces of shit.
