As someone who's dad contested the custody ruling to get more custody with me telling the judge explicitly that I wanted to live with my dad. My mom still got custody. I didn't see him for years. Check your "facts".

As a child of divorce, hell to the no. 1. If parents are to the point of divorce, forcing them together with the child or children as the cause will make things worse, not better 2. Again, no. Just no. Forcing people to be together when they don't want to be won't make thjngs better. 3. Alimony needs to be changed, not abolished.

As a (former) teacher this hurts a little bit. I know it's not personal but there are good and bad people in every profession in the world. Not every teacher is bad, just like not every cop, or every professional football player, or whatever is bad

Being upset over something as innocuous as a piece of fruit is nowhere near the same as being upset over being demonized by a large multi national brand. You're right, traditional masculinity does have flaws, as does any traditional group system. But that does not mean it's ok to paint an entire gender as bad people. Anecdotally, I have been demonized as a male because I'm an elementary school teacher. Students have been pulled out of my class before the year started, rumors (unfounded) were spr…

Calling a group of people fragile, in a derogatory sense, for sharing what they're feeling is very toxic. All opinions are equal, but insulting people isn't an opinion, it's just demeaning

That is a perfect example of toxic behavior! Men are saying how we feel and are being told by others (now including you) that we are being "bloody fragile". If a woman were to say she was offended by an ad, support would be overflowing and action would be taken! Like the Avon ad that Jameela Jamil just called out

Toxic masculinity isn't the problem. The lack of masculinity is. The reason there is a lack of masculinity is because of ads like Gillette's that demonize and shame all men for the actions of a few.

I am a male teacher. I do it because the job is so uniquely rewarding both emotionally and mentally. Yes it's stressful because of the necessity of constant paranoia but in the end when you can change a kid's life for the better, it's worth it.

Male 2nd Grade Teacher here. It is rewarding and exhausting, balancing affection to keep the kids feeling like they someone cares with making sure parents don't have any reasons to distrust you with making sure the kids learn what they need to

This. This is why I am nervous about being a male teacher at an Elementary School. I love my job and I'm good at it, but one asshat of a parent could ruin my career in an instant, over an incorrect assumption.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
