As an older guy, I take it far, far, slower. I'm usually the one putting sex off, because it takes time for me to assess the level of crazy (assuming they all fall on a spectrum). And honestly, at my age, I don't feel the need to stampede towards sex: I enjoy doing stuff and good conversation. I've had sex: It's ok, but it's not really my driving force any more. It's liberating - the value of what they have to offer declines to the point where it's a strong buyer's market.

Coin collecting. I just picked up a hundred year old $3,000.00 St. Gauden's Double Eagle this morning that is nearly guaranteed to appreciate substantially over then next ten years. The hunt for just the right coin at just the right price is more fun if I don't use ebay/the internet.

This is a bad time to buy in most areas: the inventory is so low it’s a crazy sellers market. If you have no compelling reasons, staying with your family and either saving for a larger down payment or funding your Rothmight be the better long-term financial freedom move right now.

I'd wager younger. In our 50's we've pretty much got it sorted out, and we're driven by different factors than 20 year olds. I seriously recommend it: life it better here. I have the means to travel extensively, and have given up on American women entirely, because I can.

I'd ammend that for myself to Sex hasn't lost appeal, but it's lost it's power. I still enjoy it, but it doesn't drive my decisions. I like chocolate and cigars, but I'm not upset if I don't have them, and I certainly don't put myself out to get them.

Wow. The SPLC jumped the shark about 10 years ago when they categorized the website A Voice For Men as a hate group, and has never recovered its credibility. I'm on board with this. It's a protest for the erosion of civil liberties women are facing in the "Family Values" dipshit states. It's not intended to be passed. I know the two are not equivalent, and some make a legitimate argument about the rights of a third party in abortion, but the hypocrisy still stands. Advocating men's rights doesn't entail curtailing women's rights.
