This was one view she held. I have yet to meet a person who shares all of my views on the various ethical, political, and religious topics out there, and in fact I doubt I would want to date such a person. It wasn't like the TERF thing was her personality, or the main focus she had. Eh, I don't think those ideas are specific to TERFs. I know plenty of TERFs (and I even dated one for a year), and they hold very few beliefs from that list. I feel it's more that feminists tend to hold a variety of views buffet style, and TERFs are just as likely to have them as non TERFs, and whomever made that list dislikes TERFs and just made a list of traits they didn't like and claim these are specific to TERFs without anything specifically linking them.

This is no different than saying that traditional polygamy is not a problem, but that social privileges in society lead to it being a problem. Technically true, but those privileges do exist, and they affect polygamy and ENM the same, so there's no real difference from a society perspective.

Simple: I don't use examples that men have it worse. Instead I point out examples of ways in which men are oppressed and ways they need fixing. My goal isn't to compare how bad men and women have it, both have it really shitty in different areas, my goal is to make sure people realize oppression isn't limited to one sex and that men have a plethora of inequalities thrown their way.

I do call myself an egalitarian in addition to MRA and Feminist. The reason I call myself a feminist: I have a lot of friends (and myself included) who seek to eliminate areas of inequality for women without harming men in the process, all these friends call themselves feminists and I see no reason not to also use their label. Sure there are plenty of feminists who aren't for equality but I don't see this as a reason to abandon ship.

Personally what I would love would be a version where only the facts are presented and no analysis is made at all.
