The kids are 10 & 6. They like the guy and I dont care that he’s in their day-to-day lives, but when it comes down to him saying I need to inform him about any fun activities I plan to do with MY kids and saying he is a primary provider, oh fuck no. My ex is even having him go to school events with the kids by himself when it’s usually my time to have them.

We’re are talking about $137,050 in total so a 50/50 split would be $68,525. She has over $86k in debt while my is debt is $12k.

We’ll both be moving out since we can’t afford the house if we are on our own. We’re both waiting until we sell the house. I’ll be moving into a relative’s house and she’ll be moving into her parents’ house.

Right now my kids are 8yo and 5yo so I don’t think the court will allow them to have an opinion. I explained to my kids that I would have to move away from them but I will always have a place for them wherever I’m at when they want to stay with me whether that is permanent, weekends, holidays and summer vacations.

The divorce was a no-contest divorce, which didn’t require us to appear before courts. That’s what I’m afraid of. I’m trying to find a pro bono lawyer or legal aid group just in case.

We live right on the border of the 2 states. And where she will be moving to is the same situation. I’m just not sure because we’ll be residing in different states even though we are still close together.

Technically she doesn’t. We are 50/50 coparenting since we live in the same house right now.

I plan to move to Maryland, while she and the kids stay in Pennsylvania. We’ll be between 1/2 hour to an hour away. I will have a place for them to stay where I’m moving to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
