Then, as you know, you will be the first in your direct lineage to do so. At 30 I understand the appeal. At 60 I do not.

Every species on Earth was born to procreate. It's the MOST natural thing we do. Raising a family to be healthy and productive is the domain of men and women together. It's sad how things everyone KNEW for thousands of years are now in question. Strong men raise families, lesser men do not. Love is real and every woman isn't out to get you. Gender is static and thinking otherwise is a mental illness. If you, like me, don't like degeneracy, then raise a family and teach them not to be degenerates…

To leave a legacy. To have a son to carry on your family name to honor your father. Because evolution has for hundreds of thousands of years been geared to make people want to procreate. Because having a family and raising children to be productive people is something noble and honorable. Because some of us want to live for more than ourselves.

Who gives a shit. Don't be a party to immoral action. Be a man of honor and let other fucks be dishonorable. Go find a non married slut.

Honor is lost amongst our society. Shame for being fat or sponging off the government has all but been eliminated. To me, red pill is about getting some of that back to the opposition of political correctness. Your post is right on.

Because you're a scumbag who was raised poorly, no doubt. Some things are obviously right and others obviously wrong. If you choose wrong with no compunction you're a bad person. You are a bad person.

Goodbye Horses is now and will forever be that creepy Silence of Lambs song.

Poets and playwrights have written of love for thousands of years. It's not a new phenomena. I don't know what true love is per se but I'd caution against becoming so cynical as to miss out on one of the best parts of life.

I'd rather honor my family in word and deed than disassociate with them in search of some alpha dream. A strong cohesive family unit is probably the best chance for based individuals not confused by SJW training on the television or throughout school. Do we want more women who are interested in whoring until they're thirty or women who realize excessive sexual encounters will not get them where they want to be. You know what the school and magazines will say. But what about their families? Famil…

It sounds like you pretty much have it all right now, but I would want to share that with someone. While being very selective, and I don't mean looks, I think it's brave to look for long term love and hope to get a Shakespeare moment or two. To me seeing that old couple centered in the photo with all their family surrounding them looks rather satisfying. Perhaps no one cares about this, but the legacy you leave is your family.

This is a pretty good idea. Not to actually attend, that's fucking retarded. However, someone understood a common psychosis held by adults and was able to exploit them. I'm pretty sure a good psychologist could pinpoint a common theme to all these jackasses and it probably involves developmental impedance at 4 or 5 or something. But I really bet there is a common theme of abuse or neglect with these people.

Perhaps the women who were married and just had kids respectfully declined because their going out with another man is unsavory or they just didn't have the time to do so. I wouldn't necessarily go out with an old friend who was from college for drinks unless my wife was coming along as well. I think you over simplify women. They can be good as well as bad.

You are correct. I was reading other ethical dilemmas and people kept changing the rules to them and I was annoyed when they wouldn't choose A or B. I am that which annoys me.

After rereading this I'm not sure what I would do. I think I misunderstood the set up. It's basically the same as pushing the fat man. I'd be killing a random person to save others. Without any distinguishing factors between the potential victims I think I'd just let it play out. I wouldn't want to be forsaken for others I do not know so I can't expect someone else to make that sacrifice. Presumably none of them mean anything to me so 1 or 4 doesn't make much difference. This is more interesting…

Lever yes, pushing someone no. If you were that concerned then sacrifice yourself instead of the fat man. I do believe in the rights of the individual and not a sacrifice for the greater good. That's communist shit.

We make life decisions based on present circumstances all the time. Taking a leap of faith does take courage, but sometimes you know you want something and it's worth the risk. Marriage has failed for those with divorces but for those who don't it can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Be bold and you might be surprised by what good comes to you.

That's pretty sad when a statistical site has such glaring errors in their percentages. And as my wife and I theoretically will be celebrating ten years together next year I do expect to be one of the 6.6%. My grandparents were married for around 50 years each and my parents are approaching that as well. With one exception all of my aunts and uncles have been married since the 1970s too. I think I'd be more of an outlier if I didn't make it to ten years. Off the top of my head I can count nine f…

The old way worked pretty well up until the last 30-40 years. I also think people do go into marriage more frivolously than they should. I'm not capturing a moment in time, I'm committing to one person for the rest of my life. By getting married we were announcing our union to the world. We're not predicting the future, we're committing to one another. I also seriously doubt your percentage of unhappy marriages. Most statistics I've read indicate married people are typically happier than their s…

I'd prefer my children to grow up in a household with two married parents. Also, I was going all in. I expect this to be my only marriage. We agreed that we were starting a partnership for the rest of our lives and didn't engage in marriage frivolously. We said for better or worse and that's what we meant. We're a family and we wanted that to be official.

I think it changes over time, then it was butterflies and excitement and now we're a family. I love my wife more now than when we were married.

That's a hell of a question. I don't expect I'll answer it adequately. It's caring for someone more than yourself. It's wanting the best for someone else and her happiness. It's sacrificing and support. It's understanding and forgiveness. It's when you think of her and can't help but smile. It's all these things in return. And then when you have children, it's so much more.

Surely you see the irony in relating video games to alpha traits.

I'm ok with most of what you said but I think you may be mistaken on the sex within first three dates or done. Being a man with strong values and raising a family to thrive in the world today is not blue pill. Love does exist and don't be too cynical to experience it. If you've already written it off as fantasy you're really missing out on a big part of life. Not all women are dirtbag loving whores.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
