I know a lot of guys like that in college too. If you didn't look good as a guy, it was mostly over. It was largely the athletes and frat guys sleeping around. Your "unattractive" perspective is most likely an inaccurate judgement. It's way way harder for men, and downright impossible it they are also truly unattractive.
