As far as I know, in the US, Canada and many other places women can legally mutilated their genitals, just not in a hospital. They need to seek out body modification artists. If you dig into that scene you will find stuff that people willingly do to their body that goes way beyond religious levels of mutilation. I think the UK tried or did pass laws that made even simple genital piercing on women or illegal but I don't remember the details.

That's fine. But do you feel that people who are weak deserve to be treated less than human, or equal to people who are strong? I mean, let's build a hypothetical here. If a study came out and showed that 35% of all men who are circumcised suffer mental illness either directly or indirectly due to it and 100% of men are circumcised in this hypothetical. I think I hold my point on #2 because of where I live. The types of religious pockets you speak of are relatively rare over here and while there still are a good number of religious people. I think it should be banned from being performed on infants unless it is medically necessary. I don't believe people should be able to force their religion on others, even their own children.
