Why do people believe that presumption of innocence shouldn't be a thing?(Actually, men were burnt more often, but it's burning women that is the thing which shocks cultural feminist creative intelligentsia, that's why people associate inquisition primarily with burning women today). also, the common belief is that midwives and women with knowledge of herbs were often burned, when in reality they were most often the accusers. Plus, the high time of witchhunts was the early modern era, not the middle ages, since the church in medieval times a) didn't believe that witc… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/02/24 03:17 PM

What are your favorite movies?my favourite movie in general would be Revenge of the Sith, but when we're talking about masculist stuff, I'd have to go with a comic. Although it's currently being turned into a comic book show, the scene I'm talking about is not (yet) animated. Mark Grayson (the main character) gets raped after a fight and, at a later point in time, opens up about it to his girlfriend. To my amazement they didn't make a joke out of it, instead making it a wonderful scene about dealing with trauma. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/01/24 08:50 AM
Reminder, when the Guardian published an article calling for exemption from prison for women for almost all cases, even murder.or the female teachers raping male students | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 22/01/24 10:04 AM
Reminder, when the Guardian published an article calling for exemption from prison for women for almost all cases, even murder. Moreover, when it comes to sexual offences, rounded off to the nearest whole number, women constitute 0% of all offenders – that’s right, zero. The crimes they most commonly commit are drug and property offences. oh yes, because all the female teachers grooming their male students aren't rapists, they are simply having "prohibited sexual intercourse" or whatever the fuck the media calls it these days | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 22/01/24 10:02 AM
"Feminism is only seen as Misandry because it puts men on the same ground as women"“Misandry hurts feelings, misogyny kills!” oh, I really hate that quote, and the semi-related term "femicide". It's like they think that the only motive a man who hurts/kills a woman could have is misogyny, like the only thing that can cause someone to hurt a woman is misogyny. Which (IMO) is a big middle finger in the face of all women who have been hurt due to motives like racism, homophobia/transphobia, or just general assholes, normal bullies, and so on and so forth. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/01/24 10:42 AM
