1	University Of Chicago to incoming freshman: "We do not support so-called trigger warnings, we do not cancel invited speakers because their topics might prove controversial, and we do not condone the creation of intellectual ‘safe spaces” They are not simply expressing their right to freedom of thought and expression. They are keeping someone else from doing so by shouting them down during a speech that person has been brought in to give. Now if there is meaningful discussion and debate that follows such a speech, that's great. I support that interaction fully and it allows differing views to be heard.
