I had an old ass guide to it but it disappeared somehow. Anyway, write around whatever you want to attract. If she's reading your bio, she's wanting to get sold further (i.e. she liked your pictures and wants to learn more). Think of it this way. If you wanted to be friends with any of us commenting, wouldn't you get hard if we had a little note by our username saying some shit like "Has season pass to Bengals" or "Visited and camped at 12 national parks"?

How do your conversations go? Give me a real example of how your conversations usually go (don't touch it up or make it sound better than it was because that won't help for shit). I'm sure I can figure out a few personalized tips to give you from that and you can go back and forth with me for a bit.

Haha happens to the best of us. If you want my advice when you meet up with her again, shoot a message my way at /u/ProfessionalBachelor I'm using that account more often than this one

Barely saw this, how'd it end up going?

I worked in construction and I never saw this either haha I only ever saw one Channing Tatum-like worker and a few Enrique Iglesias; this was working in Studio City, Malibu, and other high-income areas, too. We would put in our eight hours, or finish up what we had to do, grab our shit and then go home to eat/shower. It's tiring work and the sites get you full of dust and sweat.

Thank you for your support, it really means a lot. I'm glad you were able to take something away from it. If you ever have any suggestions as to what I could do to make it better and easier for people to learn and apply, or what I could write more on, don't hesitate to let me know. I really appreciate both supportive and critical comments.

Glad you're enjoying them, if you have any success with what I suggest, feel free to pm any screenshots or just share a success story with me. They're great to hear! Hopefully the envy isn't long-lasting and that what I write helps you guys get the results I get. Sometimes whenever I leave off a conversation, like she says something and I don't reply, she'll just message the next day saying "how's your day" or "what're you up to?" It's just when you they send you a message, you don't reply, so t…

You know, I read this and considered taking my post down, because I figured maybe I did overthink it. Then I looked at your posting history and saw most of your posts are aggressive and realized I shouldn't really respect your opinion in this case. Anyway, most advice repeat what you say: be clever, ask her out, profit. It doesn't work like that. You can get online and try it. You can go through countless people hoping it works. There's a reason why I make a point in saying consistency. I can do…

This should get you started: Models by Mark Manson: Main takeaway from Manson's book is to be vulnerable, be honest. There are other recommended books on this page, don't touch those. Vulnerability is good for coworkers, women you're attracted to/seeing, your family. Overall good, practical read. Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey: General self-help. Even if you don't put any of the systems into place, it gives you a sense of betterment. Fake it until you make it is no joke…

Just wait a week. No hard set number, you could go today if you really wanted to. I just think a week is fine. You should've grabbed her number or had her call you then and there. I wouldn't say she's not interested, she probably just puts it off. It's just human nature to have a super simple task (grabbing your card and texting you) and say "I'll do it later" (then never really doing it.) From what you said, you're fine. Just procrastination or a list of other things on her part.

Try coffee or food honestly. Also, you'll be surprised how far someone will drive to see you. I had a coffee date with someone who lived 40mi away before, they met me in my city. I've also had dates before just meet me at a park super close to my place but far from theirs. You can be straightforward, just know you'll have to either snapchat/text/call them first most of the time. Just a trust thing. Feel free to PM if you want to go into detail on this and if you want me to help you out. I won't …

I didn't even notice until after the fact. Here I was thinking it was all perfectly cleared out. If Jennifer ever sees that, I'm sorry. I tried.

This was a really great video, what's unrealistic isn't the "no woman wants that" that other people have commented; it's the fact that he's ran into her so much that I find unbelievable. Doesn't take away from the theme one bit though. What I took away, and what's realistic here, is that inner pain you feel. Whether when you want to talk to someone or even when you do talk to them, you still feel that "I'm a creep" thought lingering in your mind. It's incredibly difficult to get through and it r…

Third mobile edit, I'll fix this later when I get on my laptop. If you or anyone else who's wanting to know how their pictures appear and how to make it better, send me a pm of your profile (tip: click edit and just screenshot so I can see all the pictures in one image, along with your bio.) I'll tell you what to keep and what to add to make your profile stand out more. I'll only do it for a few people though, I'll say about ten people is a good number. Give or take.

On mobile and don't know how to edit this in, but also take moments of you doing something! In one of my photos I'm in the middle of putting on a mask for a masquerade. Skyscrapers in the background. I made it black-and-white for effect. It tells a pretty cool story just by looking at it. Even something as simple as being a mailman can get some great pictures. Grab a package, and look at the camera with the fattest smile. You're now the most welcoming mailman on Tinder. Or have a picture of you …

I had this exact issue when I first started using Tinder. My phone's camera was broken at the time, so selfies weren't possible. When people took photos, I looked terrible in them. I literally had to use a Christmas photo, and the only "good enough" one was of my much younger brother and I making a face at the camera... Wasn't very popular haha What I recommend, and what I did, was to get over taking pictures. If you're somewhere cool (downtown, out-of-town, ocean scene, landmark) and the lighti…

I always thought this was funny. I look about the same as I did in high school, did not get any attention back then (a ton of insecurities.) Difference now is my face is rounding, my abs are gone (20% bf,) but a lot more confidence than before. To each their own though. I'll tell you this though, find someone you wouldn't consider conventionally attractive, let me play with their profile (hell, let me coach them in general,) and I'll get you the same results. Some women can be shallow, but thank…

You can't go wrong with quality pictures! Really though, my first picture is a snapchat I saved of myself with family, old photo of me on a motorcycle, a body shot (wearing henley,) and a picture of me at a frozen yogurt place haha. Definitely nothing a pro took.

She knows you're interested haha at this point, like I said before, I would just simply ask if she's free to talk on the phone. Don't text throughout the day, ask her if she's free to talk at night, and see how well that works, I guarantee getting her on the phone will make a stronger connection, you'll hear her laugh, stay up for awhile. It's a good time.

Charming of you to grab the menu and sit next to her. I was going to say on your other comment that sitting next to each other is actually better for bonding (imo.) You're definitely moving ahead with her. This was really good to hear! Did you make plans to see her or call her on the weekdays? Feel free to just pm whenever, it's nice to hear these stories and that you're doing well! You must be feeling on cloud 9 haha

Anytime, I enjoy seeing progress! That sounds really good. She's definitely interested. I agree with "relationship texting," it just makes no sense to put up fronts when you see something long-term with someone; any of those fronts will come down given time. If I remember right, today's your date right?

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. Nothing wrong with taking a safe route to make sure things go smoothly. Plus, at this point, it's just one more day. If she does something crazy like "oh you didn't call me, get away," then you saved yourself haha But, 99.99% chance that won't happen. Let me know how the date goes for you. I'll wait for your message saying things went well

Ah, okay I got you. That makes sense then. It doesn't seem clingy to me. I've done it in the past which is why i say it's usually not a big deal. They're usually just busy so scheduling a time to talk would be them telling you a time they're free and seeing if that works for you. The only times I've felt a girl be clingy is if they keep texting when I don't reply to them.

His teachings are gold. Still have a copy of his book and read it from time to time. Are you in the acting industry? It's rare for me to generally find people who know his work. Also, if you ever find any interesting books/vids on communication, send a link my way. It's always nice adding a to the collection and gaining more experience.

Honestly, I still have no clue who came up with the no-texting idea. It's like that "wait two days to call," that used to be a thing (actually, is it still?) If you reply fast at times, then you're fine. If you're really busy, you won't notice. Sometimes I reply as soon as I get the text (thanks new iOS update for that,) sometimes after a few hours. I've gotten called out more for taking long than I have for responding fast. C'est la vie. If you can't wait until Friday and really want to talk to…

I agree hard imitation won't help, but imitating the purpose would. I go with Konstantin's line of thought in "An Actor's Work" that imagining the character's feeling behind the dialogue/action and then replicating the intent in your own way is beneficial. Thank you for recommending Voice and the Actor though, I haven't seen it referenced before so I'll give it a read.

I'm on mobile and don't know how to edit this in, but I'll take screenshots of messages I've done to people with no bios so you can see it. If I end up not putting them in my guide I'll pm them directly if you're interested.

I posted a thread yesterday asking what people would like to see in a Tinder guide, should've replied to that haha To your question, it's very broad. I usually just give a compliment. Say something about their picture. If they have no bio I have no clue if I'll like them so I literally just say whatever comes to mind seeing their pics. Keep in mind, no one usually remembers the first words said when first meeting/talking to someone. It's more of the feeling they get with you that they remember.

This is the type of response I'm looking for. People wanting more specific advice on certain areas. So to be clear, people you are interested in, like you want to see them and take them out, end up flaking or disappearing. You want to figure out why they do that and how you can stop that from constantly happening?

Definitely. Here's a book I just finished reading on the topic. Power Cues by Nick Morgan - you can probably find a pdf version. I would recommend skipping to finding your tonal range further in the book. This is a good quick video on why Clooney & Freeman sound good I spend time listening to my favorite actors during scenes I enjoy (Clooney in Ocean's series, Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love.) which I recommend you try. Watch the scene, listen to the tone and how they move it, use your own tone to …

Are you going to reply to any of these? If you're serious about getting better, reply and let me know your thoughts. We have about the same body type, I'm 5'10, ~180lbs, 18% bf. Just checked my tinder, made an account a week ago (according to my first match) and have 76 matches as of right now. 116 text messages, and have four girls consistently sending me "surprise" snaps, to put it that way. So it's definitely possible to get interest with our weight range. Confidence isn't an easy road. It ta…

I'll give you a shortcut. You're not cutting corners, rather, speeding up your development. Reading is great, applying it doubly great. Best recommendation: find someone where you want to be, whether there's a huge or small gap between "skill" doesn't matter. It's pretty much like being lvl 10 going on dungeon runs with a lvl 50; you want to be around experience. It'll get you out of your head, seeing real interactions and real results. Hell, just being on the phone with them will help you treme…
