Alas! Whenever the young man approached a woman, a thousand Don Juan philosophies came to thwart his peace. All these IDEAS clogged his action! Book of Pook You guys overthink this shit so much sometimes. The purpose of action is results. I've been at this for 23 years with the same girl, and trust me, I got this. I get better results mixing it up, acting aloof and making her chase me part of the time. Fuck, her tits have been there for almost a quarter century, dude. To grope or not? It's not a…

You are the container, and she is the water. This is such hackneyed bullshit. If she's compliant in 99% of everything else, I'm not gonna fuck that up because she doesn't wanna be groped like some kid day in and day out. If you want to lead a life where you will sweat 99% not being perfection, that's your call, bubs. I'm mature enough to know that there is no point fixing something that ain't broke. Not gonna change that up because of "the sidebar" and an internet stranger thinks so. An upright …

Yeah, I agree. Everyone sits around and says "whoa, this doesn't happen overnight!" or "Chicks will need time to catch up with your changes!", so some dude posts some FR showing positive, incremental progress, and the same dudes are all, "you are in her FRAME, man. Her Frame!!!" or "You did ok on this test, but totally blew this test. Are you growing tits yet?" Who cares, it's the result, not the exact method. No woman will think exactly the same, have the same experiences or be in the same spot…

Having experiences some aspects of this myself, the best advice is "Make hay while the sun shines". She's got a diagnosis which is better than most, and now it's up to her to illustrate the importance of the matter to her Dr. Even then, it may take months and months to get back in balance. In the mean time, take advantage of that prime week. This reminds me of another story I heard where a husband was upset by his wife's low libido due to antidepressants. Got her to convince the Dr. to add Wellb…

They are detrimental to the development of the masculine mind. You will begin to think, "I can fuck these hot bitches - these chicks, they want me" which isn't true. It goes hand in hand with the guys addicted to porn. They begin to feel like they are the ones who are pulling the Abella Andersons and Riley Reids - they compromise their masculine mind and fall victim to the rampant 'quick fix'. There is no work required for porn or prostitutes, there is no need to raise your standard and get the …

I'm with you 100% on this point. You might be forgiven an affair, a criminal record will never be forgotten. In my country it would also mean the end to my career due to regulatory compliance. It's not the sort of charge that is easy to live down, either. That said, I have checked out the scene when I was working in Eastern Europe, but even then, it was too unseemly for me. Like why am I here? I guess it's part of expats doing business over there, but I don't know strippers and stuff is about my…

Meh. It is possible the dude didn't lift a finger before and it was the legitimate spark that set off her discontent. I speak to lots of women, and if they they have left or resent their husbands, they almost without exception say they "took me (or the family) for granted" or "he never helped out". My guess is that those dudes have nothing else much to offer, either and it's the final straw. Regardless of what he's preaching works, or if it is even a real story, from my research, the dude defini…

Then you aren't doing favors. You are doing side jobs. These guys, although chumps are part of a larger social and professional network for me. I don't think i would have been as eager to help some random neighbor with his outboard for $50. But for some people that might be worth it. Especially if they have nothing else to potentially offer me.

Never do someone a favor if they cant immediately return the favor. 30 years in politics has shown me the opposite. You should only call back favors when they are of the highest value to you, as determined by you. Having some fat lawyer "help" me with moving some firewood because I fixed his pool is a waste of time when I can get him to introduce me to a client next year and maybe get a $2m contract. "Hey, Jeff. Pool still running ok? Good. Hey listen, I understand you know Joe Blow. Do you thin…

you werent the catalyst I never said I was. As a matter of fact, I got the lowdown on the more recent separation, and surprise, surprise, a dead bedroom! Buddyboy was apparently boasting how he was negotiating desire and sexual favors with is wife! And she still wouldn't fuck him after he made it clear many, many times how important it was to him. But now, he would find someone who would understand. Yeah.

it was riveting viewing! I'm happy you found it worth your while. There are soo many parallels to our cause. The ending is totally MGTOW in allegory. The whining of Patrick hit home the most for me. "move that bike", "I have to go to soccer, too!", "nobody listens to me!" and the relative fall in status. I have to think that the writer and/or director visited this sub at some point.

Absolutely, they are relationship books, after all if you make changes for the better and she doesn't come along they warn of an explosive outcome... But let me ask you this: who gets M-redpilled up without a relationship to fix? Mainly guys who look like they are hell-bent on an excuse for divorce. Pretty simple man, OP wouldn't have been on here, if not for his wife. Too many guys are quick to advise "nexting" and MGTOW on reddit for my tastes without letting the long, long, process of redpill…

LOL, What? This isn't some PUA hangout, this is about LTRs, dude. Most of the guys on here are working on making those relationships better or even survive. That's what this is all about. You are making improvements, but it is the relationship that you are trying to save. You can spout all that MGTOW stuff all you want, But if you read the materials Athol, NMMNG, the important parts are all about the women in your life.

Cool. It reminds me of a conversation I had when I first got serious with my wife over 20 years ago. "You know, there are guys you want to date (AF) and guys you want to settle down with (BB)? I like you because you are the perfect combination of the two (Captain).

Awesome! This is the reason I don't evangelize. I don't showboat or draw attention to how I run my household. I have multiple accounts on different platforms, and only browse the manosphere from a private browser. Nobody understands, nor will anyone care. If you get found out, even if everything is working out fine, your involvement will be used against you, I guarantee it. Stay safe, and I hope everything is working out ok for OP.

I don't mind giving people a boost when they are down. I'm not a mod but I would be focusing on three specific sorts of posts instead: Obviously hasn't read the sidebar material: "I enabled a druggie who cuckolded me for 15 years and I tried some of what you guys talk about and she laughed in my face!" Hasn't internalized what they have read: "My wife can see right through this Redpill act!" Doesn't understand the purpose and limitations of redpill, or doesn't realize how long it will take to re…

You are right on the mark here. But, it's more. It's not just what you learn about women and sex. It's a confluence of many other realities that you figure out at the same time. It creates doubts and a lack of confidence. Why did I go to law school when the mouth-breathing realtors I close for are making twice the money as me? Why do I have a minivan, when I really want a Harley? Why won't my wife fuck me, and yet chicks of the type that wouldn't give me the time of day in my 20s all over me now…

I don't get the point of your post. If you think MRP or TRP is a recipe for some sort of non-stop happiness, learjet and caviar lifestyle, it isn't. Seems to me that you have a pretty good sex life, and your wife is still attentive and getting you off, why are you trying to fuck it up? Some of the advice on here is for guys who are rebuilding SMV. Who haven't fucked their wife for months. Guys trying to re-establish attraction from their wives. You can ignore that stuff. Yours wants to fuck you …

Look man, everyone is different. Although we like to say AWALT, nobody is going to say that some airhead waitress, an executive or tattoo shop owner will have similar outlooks or personalities. I personally think you are off to a good start, having some separation in your lives. She's just a little more reserved for whatever reason. I personally wouldn't dwell on her abuse and stuff. Everyone has skeletons, and those are for them to deal with, not you. The only thing I would add to the advice of…

I'm in the same boat. However, when I let myself go, and we were having other problems I was getting them. Good to know what they are so you can spot them and act on the knowledge. Don't worry about fixing what is not broken.

Thanks. I have been at this game before there was a redpill. Before there were Matrix movies. Think "The Breakfast Club". I have always thought in terms of credibility, because when guys like me figured this stuff out we didn't have terms like SMV that separated sexual or hierarchical credibility form other kinds. I hear it used elsewhere in the manosphere, too, so it's not really my invention, Dante Nero for example speaks in these terms a lot, too. And when you think about it, credibility is w…

Dude, the touching and stuff prove that you are making progress. The "Nice guy" comment is a test, for sure, you just haven't built up enough credibility to answer the way you did and expect agreement. Hold the course. All of this takes time. Remember, you are making changes for you, not her. Only when you are completely credible will she come around. Don't get all impressed with all these Field Reports where guys say things like "I just read this sub yesterday, and bossed her around at the socc…

First off this should tell you you haven't fully internalized RP truths. If your emotions are written all over your face they should read the stoic, amused or A&A positions you are taking. Amused Mastery has been my go-to strategy because now that I recognize these tests for what they are, they are nothing but funny.

Hey man, I'm not white knighting here. OP fucked up and is now moping around looking for sympathy. I have no sympathy for him because everyone, especially as they get older, will have regrets about what they did or didn't do. Fuck, this shit only dawned on him in the last two weeks. Was he force-feeding her up 'till then? Probably not. He was probably complimenting her and endorsing her hoping to get laid. Chick's not going to improve if he tolerates that shit and you know it. Nuh-uh. Re-read his post. He's only now loosing interest in the past two weeks. She didn't chub up in two weeks, dude. OP has been asleep at the switch, and now has a massive derailment on his hands. Read a couple of RP forums, and now he's feeling sorry for himself and taking it out on his wife. Shes not the captain, right? Can't blame her for the oil spill, OP is ultimately responsible.

Ugh, he married her and let her get that way. He is naturally repulsed by this reminder of his own failure. It's not wrong, but I bet before he discovered RP, he was probably dreaming that she'd only give him a handy. She was good enough, then, right? Just as it takes him time to be more naturally alpha, it will take time for her to follow suit, once he sees her making progress on her own terms, and the future becomes clearer, he'll feel better. This is still very much a problem of his creation …

I would say some of this is "midlife crisis" sentiment. Even the most successful and confident guy will have certain regrets. I was very focused, very young and now regret I didn't have more fun. I regret I didn't really understand game and certain aspects of masculinity earlier. Some other guys might look at me and say, wow, I regret not having a unicorn wife of my own creation. I regret not working hard young so I could have an executive home, beach house, big Mercedes etc. The older you get, …

I don't think that works for all body types. I'm an advocate of a more square and shoulder wide posture, but I'm pretty muscular but shorter (48" chest, 5' 8", 35" waist) and drooping around like some Renaissance painting makes me look like an idiot, I think.

Dude, don't sound so glum. You are here, aren't you? I think these guys make this all sound like an insurmountable task, but I'll tell you a secret, you probably don't have to be a ripped asshole banker with a helicopter to get your wife back on side. There is always someone with a better story, more money, a bigger dick. If I had to start from scratch, I'd probably focus on my fitness, posture, taking up space, social comfort first. These are areas that will help your overall presence and set y…

I let her down, and I had to prove that I wouldn't any more. That's pretty much what the whole thing comes down to. I thought I was making things better, but I was making them worse. For the first time in my life, I chose comfort over a challenge, and that decision and the lifestyle and habbits that comes with it had to be unraveled. You can cover a lot of swamp in three or four years, you have to back out of it and hit the highway. You may be rewarded or encouraged on the way out, you might not…

I might be the nigger, but there is only one I care about, and that's me. I'm not the race police. I'm not going to get into debates I won't win and only make me the talk of the neighborhood. It's not worth it. Why would you open your thoughts and family business to strangers? Before you know it you are the "abusive" guy or the "asshole" guy. Why? it's pointless.

Who is your audience in that situation? It's not your job to save men from their own bad ideas. What do we say about impressing our women? Demonstrate thorough action. Do you think your actions and the results in the caliber of woman you attract are lost on these guys? They don't need subtitles like "I don't stand for that". What the fuck? You just proved it. Dude, this may be a dissenting opinion, but I would have just smiled and went along with the "happy wife, happy life" narrative. You are not an evangelist. You are not testifying in a trial, in short, there is no reason to draw attention to your situation or how you run your home and family. Your what I call "showboating" may have resulted in silence when you said it, but I can guarantee that it set the chops aflappin' as soon as you were out of earshot. To what end? Nah, I had a loss due to a major natural disaster that was usually uninsurable in my country, and took on additional cost at the behest of the insurance company who then denied a six-figure claim... Sometimes you catch a black swan... As for the outcome? I was a wreck when I learnt of it and I ruined a very expensive and much needed vacation with my Woody Allen Act. edit: I wound up eating the loss.

Thanks, man. Interesting how it came up though. no mention of the dr.'s appointment at the time, luckily I was already making improvements, it was when the unexpected happened, and I started to slide into old ways, it was amazing how as soon as I mentioned the doctor, "by the way..." She held it in reserve for just such an occasion.
