My own experience. Had just 1 gf/sexual partner up until I was 28. Thought I’d enjoy myself after the break up. Slept with a couple girls and noticed that I lasted a lot longer than with my ex. After meeting my now new Gf I realized that casual sex without much of a connection felt meh emotionally. I enjoyed myself and it felt good for sure but it took me really concentrating to get off. With my girlfriend it’s more “normal” where it feels great and sometimes too good and I have to start doing f…

Just had a related conversation with my friends about this. We are all in our early 30s and agreed that dating was much easier than in our 20s. We credited it to just having a better idea of what we’re doing and plenty of single moms looking for casual relationships. Yay living in the Midwest I guess. Haha

You have to realize that fear is just a feeling of pushing your comfort zone and doing something that doesn't come naturally to you. Everytime I feel fear or anxious I push through it. It pays off and my confidence boosts. An example, I have always had the same job since high school I recently decided I wanted more pay and less hours (in school atm). I've never done the interview or resume process before and I just started applying for jobs that interested me. I was scared of the uncertainty of …

Wow thanks for sharing your story. Man, I guess you just followed your gut feeling? I look at her sometimes and think could I see myself with her the rest of my life and idk (too early I'm the relationship to tell). Guess I'll find out the longer this last. Thanks.

I'll admit movies have really skewed my thought of what love is like. It's not all the romantic infatuation 100% of the time. There are ups and downs it seems. Maybe the honeymoom phase is just slowly ending. It'd make sense I guess since we've known each other for years. I'll just go with the flow, have fun and enjoy the time we spend together, whether that be a couple months, years, or a lifetime. I'm just new to relationships. Thanks for the insight.

As someone who isn't great with women but working on it I would suggest this. Ask her out one last time. You set the when and where. Make sure you state it's a date. If she's down then great and do it again until you feel comfortable asking her to be exclusive. If she can't and doesn't suggest an alternate time then cut her off and move onto the next one. Tons of girls out there not worth spending time on someone who is wishy. washy about you.

Just my 2 cents. If she was interested she would have made time for you. Why go out on a date with someone who feels iffy about you? On to the next one. If she starts to show interest after you move on then she probably plays games and then it's up to you to decide what to do. It's October, if you're in the US you can go do a haunted house or any other events your town might be hosting throughout the month. Good luck.

Don't want to come off as the creepy cold approach guy? Some women will dig your cold approaches and some won't be interested and/or think you are creepy. You can't have one without the other.

I do consider them friend zoned. I'm not actively looking to hook up with them when we go out. I'm not thinking " I hope if I hang out enough with her she'll sleep with me". There is teasing and flirting, but it stops there. I think of them like bros. They would have to grab my dick out of my pants for me to think they were sexually interested in me. It's all just fun.

Have 2 female friends that I've known for a few years now. Both very attractive and love to tease and flirt with me and a friend of mine. We go out dance and have a good time. If I meet a girl I'm interested in you can feel the jealous glare they throw my way. My buddy even got a " OMG I can't believe your gonna hook up with her" from one of them one night. He responded with " well honey, if you aren't gonna hook up with me she will". Shut her down. They are a great time and I enjoy spending tim…

I'm a guy who currently put a girl on a pedestal and is currently in the " I hope I texted her the right thing" mentality. I really needed this. Time to focus on working on myself!

Didn't he advertise his book on this subreddit a few months ago with a picture of him and his two girlfriends and was down voted because everyone was like "anyone can hire two models to take a picture with you "? I wonder if anyone from this subreddit has given his book a read.

Always take advice with a grain of salt. Here are my two penny's. Being direct in a reasonable amount of time works out great because you don't end up spending a large amount of time pursuing a potential girlfriend for weeks only to find out that they only like you as a friend, which seems to be what happened here. Now that you know where she stands you can either cut contact and move on to the next one or be a friend to her but only keep it at that nothing more. Don't be a friend with the hope …
