The rate of men being convicted of tapes they didn't commit would be exceptionally low because the number of men convicted of rape after possible victims report to police is incredibly low. The ability to be able to prove rape can be very difficult and therefore conviction rates are very low. The same goes the other way. I live in Australia so my situation is probs heaps different. The way I look at it is this. I get roads, reasonable public transport, hospitals and healthcare, emergency services and a safety net if I fall on hard times.
