China has no extradition treaty with the US, though that doesn't necessarily mean what you said doesn't apply to China too.

I don't think you know what that word means.

I addressed that. The double standard should be rectified by reducing penalties for statutory rape against girls. I'm sorry for adding an aside. Btw, this discussion is about double standards, not about policing people's comments. edit: That's the fucking redpill, idiot. Noting a difference in how men and women are treated isn't a double standard because men and women aren't the same.

The word 'rape' will become meaningless if they keep stretching the definition like this. Just like the word 'terrorist' has come to mean just about anyone who fights against will of the US. These words used to have very specific meanings.

Who's hamstering? This just stinks of MRA shit. Just because statutory rape against girls gets over-penalized doesn't mean statutory rape against boys should be brought to parity. I think her punishment is fair, and I think the punishment for statutory rape against girls should be brought down, though probably not to parity. She sucked a dick, it was consensual, and nobody's feelings got hurt. He didn't even report it to the police. The only thing she did wrong, ethically, is cheating on her hus…

What is this, /r/mensrights ? Statutory rape against a male isn't the same as statutory rape against a female. You think that kid was damaged cause he got his dick sucked? Hell no.

If we make an alternate board on another website we'd have some leverage. When /new/ was deleted on 4chan the diaspora fled to other chans and moot realized he was losing traffic and when they did post on 4chan they were shitting up other subs. The loss would be two-fold on reddit because not only would they lose traffic, but if we organized from another website there would be no disinsentive to brigading. If their real concern is brigading then they'd want to keep us contained here rather than …

I live in a mostly atheist country and this rings true.

Live-in girlfriends are the best. They cook, clean, give you back rubs, etc etc. Living alone doesn't even come close. That all presumes that you have a decent girlfriend though.

I know this won't seem agreeable to everyone here, but Jezebel is actually a force for good in my opinion. They're so extreme that they actually serve to poison the well of radical feminism and turn a lot of people off to it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoning_the_well Basically, the more people attach Jezebel's poison to the cause of feminism, the less credit feminists will have in debates simply because of that connection.

There are ways to intonate though. You can use italics or exclamation points, and the contest of the comment can make it apparent too. I just get so frustrated when people don't get my funny jokes!

Its used to show that a comment is sarcastic. It also undermines the whole point of sarcasm in doing so.

Trolling is a brilliant tactic to force your opponent to truly look at their own position. This will sound ridiculous to you at first, but Socrates was the best troll ever because he never said he knew anything, but instead just asked probing questions that pissed people off and made them realize they were wrong on their own. That's trolling, and it is effective. Look up the Socratic Method. Its basically trolling in its purest form. You ask seemingly innocent questions which agitate your oppone…

This statement sums up this argument in a nutshell. For instance, there is no such thing as white privilege since not being stopped or discriminated against for your color is a right, not a luxury. This was precisely my argument against the concept of privilege when it was introduced to my by a friend circa 2006. Its a redundant concept because we all recognize that those without said "privilege" are discriminated against. Privilege was just brought into being because everyone had already accept…

That's difficult for me to answer because I've been following the case since it broke in the news over a year ago. The most thorough source would be the footage of the trial.

Ya I think its commonly agreed that GZ followed TM, but it seems GZ had lost track of TM for a good two minutes when TM returned and confronted GZ.
