David was not transgendered. He had sexual reassignment surgery performed at a little under 2 years of age. He was born biologically male, and despite being taught that he was female, identified as male. And yes, as a medical professional, I identify two genders. We have yet to adapt the terminology of gender to mean anything other than male or female sex in my trade.
