US courts permit intoxication as a defense for the mens rea component of many, if not most crimes (specific intent crimes for states that still use the older nomenclature) for defendants regardless of gender. Rape happens to be defined as a general intent crime so alcohol intoxication isn't a defense. But for my money, if you get drunk and break into someone's house and walk out with their iPod, you're on the hook for two crimes: criminally negligent intoxication and burglary. He held that when you do something immoral while drunk, your punishment should be WORSE because you've committed two wrongs - you chose to get drunk, and you chose to commit the wrong. 2	My problem with Seddit I ended up coming home more exhausted than when I left. Four days of people, Christ that sounds like a hell-vacation to me. I'd've found a way to sneak off into the woods (cottage in a natural setting?) just to have some peace and quiet and a chance to read. I'd venture to guess that if you were to take a snapshot of the instances in which the word "sexism" was used in writing, across all media, over the course of a year, the vast majority of such instances would be in reference to women. (See right side...) free speech is a bitch irrelevant in this context because Reddit is not the government, and 1st Amendment Free Speech protections limit the power of the government, not a private entity like Reddit.
