Personally what I would do is just call or text her and come out straight with it. “You left some stuff here, do want it back” and then tell her she’s free to come and get it. Yeah I’ve seen this too. Just a quick search on indeed shows there’s 10000 mech jobs 20000 electrical and 80000 software job openings. Clearly there’s a higher demand in software but it just surprised me. I would think there would be more openings for mech and electrical seeing as they design and develop the products that the software goes on. What’s the word with machine learning no less a days anyway? I hear that’s going to have a big impact on the software engineering job market.

Actually from my research the Great Depression was caused because of government intervention and most likely had to do with the creation of the FED. If you look at the depression right before 1933, I think in 1927 it corrected itself within a year without government help.

My grand father actually works in the logging industry out here and has tried to get me into it, but I'm kind of hesitant because I kind of want to do something that uses more of my brains. Yeah! I've definitely noticed there's a huge surge in Software type jobs online when I checked on Indeed. It seems interesting, especially how well people are getting paid for it, but I just don't understand enough about it honestly. It's not like engineering where I can see the design of a circuit board or design a part in CAD, it just seems like magic to me. Also maybe start looking at you monthly or yearly finances and see where your money is going and see if those things you're spending money on you can do yourself. Example: Power bill? learn how to install a solar panel grid for your house. Water bill? learn how to dig a home well. Town sewage? learn how to make a leech field at home. Car maintenance? learn how to do the repairs you need the most.

I think it all starts with having an endgame. If you know what type of lifestyle you want to live IE; Mansion life, Minimalist life, Vanlife, Boatlife and then build around that. If your endgame is living on a boat and sailing around the world then build around that, but if you want to live in a tiny cabin in the woods with a farm and some chickens definitely learn about home building stuff. The type of knowledge should revolve around the life you want to live.

Hmmm thats interesting. I have been thinking a lot about the need of wanting more as well. Specifically why people are working longer and not retiring out of choice because they have no better activity to replace their job with. I see what you're saying about the dopamine receptors. I've been taking some alone time at a family house we have where there's no tv, no internet all that sort of stuff to really see the point back to zero but I don't think thats the issue anymore. I agree with you on this. There was actually a Supreme Court ruling a long time ago about a Native American that tried to claim citizenship because he was born in the United States but they denied him. Apparently that ruling doesn't hold up today.
