Cheating is not a HVM's trait. With that I agree. However, a conversation usually takes place between that man and his partner that he will be socially monogamous. One wife who reapes all the financial benefits of being his partner. However, she will not be the only women he chooses to spend his time with. Therefore, he controls his urges by not sleeping with just anyone and DOES NOT create any children outside of the marriage. He is socially monogamous and privately satisfies his urges safely a…

Again, where are you getting your info from regarding traits of a HVM? Without sharing that information it seems as if you are only giving your thoughts on what a HVM SHOULD be. Anyone can do this, "A woman should never gain weight after you've met, (expect pregnancy, she has a year to lose the weight), she should serve and OBEY her man)". Sound right?

I respect that you are willing to dialog on this topic. I would ask this, are you or do you know any HV men? And I mean, REALLY know them? I am considered one by definition and most of my colleague's are as well. While we are in control of our sexual urges we don't limit ourselves. Why would we when we put in the time and effort to achieve such high accolades?

https://www.livescience.com/32146-are-humans-meant-to-be-monogamous.html Funny thing about the internet is that everyone has an opinion. I would ask this question from what is observable. How many single women do you know older than 35? I know ALOT.

Which part exactly? Monogamy is a fairly new concept (100's of years).

Super like! This whole narrative around Men sucking is just dated and inaccurate.

We all know women control access to sex and Men control access to relationships. Women manipulate men by taking dates with no interest in a sexual relationship. Men have casual relationships with women with no intention of serious relationship.

Makes sense, I'm glad you are open to having this open dialog with someone who shared a reply that doesn't echo "red flag, move on". Now for my response, He sounds like he fully evaluates big decisions before blindly "fully commiting". That may seem harsh but what if after he looks for someone else he realizes you are all he needs. 9 months is NOT long enough to make this decision. My advice to you is.. if he treats you nice, enjoy the relationship. I would take it as an opportunity to continual…

Did you ever think its strange to request insight into Men's actions from women? Send the downvotes but my perspective is this, introducing someone to your family does show deep trust and he considers you special. The effort he put into your birthday and his desire to travel with you also shows he holds you in high regard. I would simply ask him, what is it that you are looking for on the dating app? I don't think the answer will be to replace you because he is set on making future travel plans …

I think the simple interpretation is he doesn't value the same things you do. You request small gifts like trousers and jewelry, he may "hear" you when and agree but at the end of the day his actions speak louder than words. With that said, you are a student and he earns good money. Have an independent mindset, focus on your schooling and when you graduate buy yourself those gifts. He will see your actions and decide if he wants to get on board or left behind.

If you aren't ready yet, that's better to say than provide a verbal "we can't be physical until we have a title". Listen to your gut, but from what you've shared, I can't think of a better guy to feel comfortable with in that way. Don't overthink it, life is long.....enjoy it!

If his only goal is to sleep with you, he could just claim you are now BF/GF then separate when it pleases him. I think giving a condition for sex is a turn off and you should be natural and let things progress. Source: married 35M for 10 years.

Serious question. Let's say duty sex is a thing and the man identified it in his relationship. In what situation would you find it acceptable to seek that release elsewhere?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
