Women are attracted to men who are thriving and doing their own thing. A big part of that is hobbies. Things that you do because you want to. If you’re doing it to attract women, then you don’t have a hobby.

Haha man I would t have put it that way, but I think you’re right in that it takes time to get good at it, but it also takes communication. Simply asking someone what they want is a great place for anyone to start.

They’re generally just not though. There’s no shame in aging though, we all do. The thing to normalize is acceptance of aging and aging with dignity and grace.

Ok, well then I don’t accept the premise that the top guy is just a fuckboy. Does that clear things up?

Is there a quote in what I said that was similar to “hot guys looking for hookups?”

Because sexual selective pressures have genetically favored the top guy for our entire existence as a species and before.

….. people ARE objects. We simply aren’t merely objects. If you’re out in public without a reasonable expectation of privacy, you should expect that people will look at you, some of them will feel sexually aroused by your appearance, and a subsection of those will not be attractive to you. Welcome to life on earth the last few billion years.

You mean dependent on her for my happiness? It’s complicated and doesn’t happen overnight, but I’ll try to lay it out for you. This will be long winded, sorry. Since the end of high school I’ve been a quite attractive guy to a lot of women, or so I’ve been told. Since most women rarely approach men, I’ve gone a lot of my life without having any clue that women find me attractive. In any case, I’ve never had much confidence. Part of this is my male family tendency toward depression, and part of i…

Yeah, a few years ago I was deeply codependent with my gf. We had a lot of struggles as she stated feeling like I was too clingy, but I felt like I was clinging to the last blade of grass holding me from falling to my death. Under those circumstances, it’s so hard to let go. I listened to a great podcast on insecurity by “Philosophize This!” And it just clicked for me. I wanted her to be happy, without me if need be. I decided in that moment that I was just going to focus on being happy without …

Why ask? Simply look at men in the wild. A fit and handsome man will pull a beautiful woman unless he’s like rags poor. An ugly old billionaire always has a beautiful wife. A guy who’s both attractive and rich has the world as his oyster. A guy with neither looks nor wealth, had better be really charismatic or he likely won’t be able to get any woman at all. So yeah, wealth obviously matters. I have no idea how to put a point system to that, but you might say that every 100k of income adds a sin…

Definitely not. For one, the number of men and women isn’t even the same, and when you factor in LGBT, Polyamorous, asexual, the arithmetic gets even more wonky. Then you get the top 10% of guys having more than their share of women and the bottom 50% of men basically having zero access to sex.

If you want a traditional husband, be prepared to be a traditional wife. Men who are paying for your lifestyle will expect that. Frankly, from what I’ve read, you’ve got no chance.

Oh well since you put it that way, I’m no longer an atheist and I’m now a Mormon since that sounds the best for me. Because that’s how belief works. Has it occurred to you that peoples ideas about reality are not formed exclusively by their best interests, let alone your conception of them? Also, it’s interesting that all the letters are smuggled in together, when in fact, most people only take issue with T. This seems to be based on nothing but your intuition and the cultural norms you were brought up with, combined with perhaps some jealousy on your part. Any line you draw will be arbitrary. 18 on the other hand is rooted in biology. The fact of the matter is that the brain of an 18-year old woman is fully formed and she will have sufficient life experience to safely make her own decisions, including the right to date whomever she may choose.

Gonna play devils advocate here: Have we established that that’s even true? Because a lot of red pill content revolves around the celebration of men denying that type of woman. But let’s just say you’re right…. …the woman in that case already is what she is in his view. He’s simply reciprocating like with like. There’s nothing saying that he can’t enjoy himself with a “low value” woman… red pill guys simply won’t marry her, because in his view she’s already giving away her value for free, non-di…

If she’s an adult, she can hear criticism. In a healthy relationship, you should feel free to ask for what you need. I’d change your wording to be more compassionate, however. Also, there are lots of styles of relationship that are not equal in all categories yet are still perfectly valid. But she needs to be making up for her shortcomings in some way that is satisfactory to you. Keep in mind though, compromise on your part should be expected as well.

I used to worry about this stuff a lot too. Didn’t lose my virginity until I was 23, and it used to drive me insane. Looking back, I should never have wasted so much of my mental energy worrying about it. Just live your life. Social media is so fake. It’s either people Lying about their lives, or it’s selecting for the most fortunate people on earth. It’s not a representation of anything real. Nobody has it all figured out, I promise you that.

My sister is with a guy 15 years older than her, and they’re now happily married and running a successful business together. Consenting adults can do whatever they want, in my view. I really think a lot of the taboo comes from older women who get jealous of the younger competition, and from young men who dislike their dating pool being dipped into by well established men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/23 09:49 PM

There’s a self-selection bias here though. By definition you’re only seeing the sort of men who would do that and not all the others. Obviously this exists, but it isn’t a representative sample of men.

Look, you don’t have to have things figured out, especially at your age, nor really, at any age. Socrates, perhaps the wisest man to ever have lived, once said “the only thing I know, is that I know nothing.” The main thing to cultivate is a sense of curiosity. Go discover things about yourself, other people, and the world. There are so many things you’ve never even heard of. A thousand lifetimes searching would barely scratch the surface of all that there is to be and to do. I don’t know if lif…

What do you like to do for hobbies? Forgetting entirely that females exist, how would you spend your time, if you could do anything? Would you pick up new hobbies, develop existing ones, or a bit of both?

I think that’s just something you’re telling yourself. The truth is there are many ways of being happy in life. As others have said, people of all kinds are attracted to happiness, so the source of that happiness for you cannot be a relationship, by definition. I’m not saying it’s easy, but you’ve got to find a way to be happy without a relationship, and then I think you’ll find that that happiness will attract a woman anyways.
/r/ExRedPill09/01/23 03:05 AM

Here’s the way I think about it: Focus on being the person you want to be…the best version of yourself, for your own sake. Don’t do it for women. Just be the person you want to be, do the things that you find genuinely interesting. If the “problem” is your looks, women will be attracted to your personality and your achievements. Or at a bare minimum, you are happy in spite of women, because you’re living your best life anyways. If the problem is not your looks, then you’re better off anyways. Ba…

No, she definitely doesn’t understand. She’s starting to strike me as someone who’s understanding of sex is entirely academically based, mixed with her own physiology and psychology. The thought of other women having a different experience than her is unthinkable to her. I once had a girl who basically only wanted stimulation of the Cervix. For her, doggy style was the way to go as, in her own words “it is the most direct way to hit the cervix.” And she would climax based on vaginal pulsing to h…

Yeah, I’m not so sure. I remember I once heard through the grape vine that among my guy friends, a female friend group that we had contact with had played “fuck, marry, kill” and I had been voted “marry” I was initially offended, until I was told that the rationale was that I was also quite fuckable but that I also came off as more professional, responsible, disciplined, and that I had leadership qualities, meaning that I would be a better candidate for a long term relationship, or fatherhood. Yeah, guy here. In my experience all girls are different. I had an ex that loved doggy style, and climaxed mostly with penetration, while my current girl pretty much only gets off with clitoral stimulation. In fact, she’s also fairly shallow, so penetration can be painful for her if she’s not really warmed up. So I’ve learned to focus on the clit a lot, and it makes all the difference. For guys that don’t understand this, imagine a girl giving a hand job or blowjob but only touching your balls, …

You aren’t crazy in the slightest. It’s all BS. Most of these people act completely differently in real life. Just enjoy your life, do no harm, if you can. Find peace, and try to make the world just a tiny bit better than you found it. That’s really it.

The problem is a man’s definition of slightly overweight is vastly different than a woman’s definition. Women who call themselves “curvy” tend to be straight up obese by a man’s definition.

I’m not sure why you’re trying this hard to be confused by him. He’s talking about attraction. I’m not a rapist, but presumably rapists rape people they are attracted to. Since you said racism programs people to not be attracted to the group they are racist against, he rightly mentioned that black women were raped by racist white men, meaning that attraction can exist whether or not you’re racist.

That’s a hard question to answer. I suspect the answer will vary depending on the guy. For my part, I’m not sure monogamy works for me. I’ve been in a few committed relationships but I eventually get bored, lose feelings for the person I’m with. I suppose an attractive enough girl who’s got a sexual appetite like mine, who’s also easy to get along with would stand the best chance of holding my interest. I’d just like a single modern feminist to voice their appreciation for the vast and numberless dead young men who lie in unmarked mass graves along the borders of every nation that has ever existed so that their mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters could be safe. I’d also love to hear a single word of thanks for the men who maintain the myriad industries that props up every single aspect of the modern woman’s pampered life. A little perspective would be great

It has nothing to do with what she thinks about small dicks and everything to do with what he does. It’s about the phenomenon of compensatory behavior of men with small penises. Much like napoleon syndrome, there is at least the perception that such men compensate for their lack of endowment by being aggressive, buying lots of shiny toys, etc. So it’s not that she thinks small penises are bad, but she knows that HE thinks so, and she wagers that he has one and is insecure about it.

I definitely agree on your political take. The two sides exhibit a mutually co-radicalizing effect on each other. I don’t mean to say I like Tate. He’s a total dips**t and he’s wrong about most things. But he’s not always wrong, and when he is right, it’s quite a breath of fresh air, because he’s saying things confidently that a lot of people have been feeling for a long time. Left and Right are just relative positions on a spectrum. I’d agree they aren’t classically liberal, as they exhibit pretty strong authoritarian and populistic tendencies, but I think they’re definitely far left

Sorry to hear that, I’ve been really enjoying talking with you So you put a greater than sign on both sides of the quoted text? Listen, I’ve spent years hating on conservatives too. Have you considered that this level of equality isn’t even desirable? It’s our differences that make life interesting and worth living. Why not just celebrate them. Life isn’t going to be perfect. Outside of just making everyone clones of a single sex, there will always be these differences
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 08:06 PM

No, I think it’s just because the far left has become absurd to almost everyone, and it’s cathartic to be able to laugh about truths that you could get cancelled for saying. The right is still moving too far right as well. Qanon and the Trumpists are every bit as insane, or more so, and of course, there’s some great comedy gold about them too, but they don’t feel like a cultural movement, but it’s the exception to the rule, or perhaps a reaction to the cultural movement of the left.

Sorry, I’m still getting used to Reddit, so I’m not sure how to reply to sections of text the way you did. I’ll just try to keep it straight and address your points one by one. It might be a sliver of the left, but I’d posit it’s undeniably the prevailing wind. The existence of an opposite far right prevailing wind doesn’t excuse it, though it does explain it. The most telling thing for me is that comedy has become right wing. For as Long as I can remember, it was always the Right that couldn’t take a joke, and the left was always the side dunking on them. Now it’s an even split, or leaning in favor of right wing, and that’s so shocking to me

Humans and most other large terrestrial mammals are naturally patriarchal. The question is whether an argument appealing to nature is suitable, responsible, logical, and ethical in the advanced democracies of the 21st century. After all, it could also be argued that we are naturally murderous, naturally selfish, naturally tribal, etc.

To that point, I had just been told directly that as a white cis male, I’m not allowed to have opinions on most of these social issues. That’s not the first time it’s been said to me, and I’ve heard it said many times to others. I’ve also been told that prejudice against white people cannot be racist, and that holding that pre…

Oh, I’m definitely a centrist now, albeit a strange one. My concern is the growing irrational divide between left and right. It’s a game of tug-of-war where the goal increasingly seems to be victory at any cost, including sacrificing any sense of personal standards. The only hope I see in any of this is that there is increasingly space for a legitimate center on the political and cultural stage, though I remain pessimistic that many will find their way there.
