I agree 100% but I was addressing the non-behavioral aspect, which is perhaps more foundational. An unattractive woman who isn't a slut isn't going to have a reproductive advantage over the very beautiful woman who is. Men want youth and beauty as well as a woman who is chaste for the reasons you stated. This is a benefit on the individual level. i.e not getting cucked. It's a lovely sentiment but millions of years of evolution have programmed our mate selection preferences and these preferences operate at an almost subconscious level. Women don't want a tall, muscular, good looking and above all wealthy man because they are shallow. When you consider the non stop attack on fatherhood I would say that it's not necessarily understood as being common sense. It's nice to see research confirm what some of us already know.
