Well said! This is why America as a two party system, be it Dems vs GOP, or whatever, fails. Issues aren't black and white, right or wrong. These are complex issues that require more than just two sides.

I completely agree with you. There's no way in hell that she will ever come close to repaying the money she got from the school district. At this point it should be about her punishment, which imo should be prison time. Edit: if you haven't read about this guy, he had the potential to be an excellent professional football player before this girl told her lies. She completely screwed him out of his shot at the big time.

This is such a tragic story. What this post failed to mention is that Mr. Banks was a promising high school football player who had recently committed to going USC on a full ride football scholarship. This girl's lies completely derailed what could have been a great career playing football for Banks. IMO she should have to do the same amount of time that Banks was sentenced to, an example needs to be set.
