I tried reading 1Q84 by Murakami recently, but I couldn't get past the first 50 pages. The author goes on for page after page about the make and model of several different cars and what kind of clothes the book editor wears in such detail but the characters almost never talk to each other. At no point did I care about any of these characters. What do these people want? Why does it matter that the cab driver and the passenger both recognize a piece of music written by Dvorak? Lol I don't think he'd really do all this. If OP was unable to operate a condom effectively, I doubt he'd be able to lie, con, and act his way though this harebrained scheme. I had a ton of fun writing this, though.
